hiii!!! i don’t really like it when people make posts like these asking for money, so i wouldn’t be doing this if i knew it wasn’t absolutely necessary. the page explains everything.
a horse at the barn that i board at, named belle, colicked REALLY bad to the point of her intestines twisting over a whole 360 degrees, and as a result, she had to get trailered to the clinic and get emergency surgery. over the two weeks she stayed, the vet bill piled up insanely high, and poor nicolette, her owner, is taking on an insane amount of shifts to scrape up enough money to start paying it off. at one point while belle was staying at the clinic, the cost was beginning to look so high that nicolette was faced with the decision of taking her off all support systems and putting her down, but thankfully, it did not have to come to that.
despite the fact that she is back home at the barn now, things are still very tight and she is on a ton of medications and the financial aspect of it is still rough. please please please, if you can’t donate, i’d appreciate it if you could give it a reblog without just scrolling past!! it would help out so much. nicolette is a very very very hard worker and an amazing, caring person, and some help and support would mean so much to both her and her loved ones!!
