NASH OF THE NIGHT

I’d do anything for you ( in the dark )

And I’m not okay I’m okay, a new kind of way

Trying to figure it all . Trying to avoid it all.

I take a deep breath & I continue to exist

In such a disheartening space of adulthood where I’m too exhausted to improve my life but also knowing how great things could get . I’m succumbing to comfort too early in my career that it’s suffocating. It’s just hard because I love the work I do , I love the company I work for , I love the people I work with . I’m SO proud of it all it’s my dream 9-5 . But I also desire so much more in my life financially. That I wouldn’t reach here . Its disheartening . But I groan & I cry in silence & in the dark that this has to be my rock bottom & a new day begins & it’s fun & enjoyable at work again and I get distracted by the blinding lights , the joy that even though when I go home & I’m sad the space I’m in & what I’m apart of makes it all the worth while . It’s the passage of time that’s killing me mostly.
