Everyone go look up the song nasa banned from space
Don't forget to play it loud as fuck
please….listen to the whole thing. And imagine that you are IN SPACE in 1973 and you JUST woke up. Every time you adjust…it escalates somehow.
This song had to be designed in a lab for the sole purpose of fucking with astronauts. whoever added it to the NASA playlist was a genius.
It took them two tries to ban it?

Nasal how do you feel about the movie Project Hail Mary?
it was pretty good, i personally liked the book more but it wasn't too bad.
Stratt could have been more evil, grace would DEFINITELY yell at the council instead of cowarding, and im sad they didn't start with the tubes in grace for him to rip out like in the book

Where's the African mythology?
The Kickstarter is live now!
I know I have close to zero Tumblr fame, which I normally appreciate, but I would love it if this made it into the world and got fully backed. You can even pledge to get the digital content and send a real copy to a school in Africa or to a HBCU or community library of your choosing!
Misusing my blog again so more people can see this then

Above image is a pride flag with every color band represented by a NASA image. White is Earth clouds, pink is aurora, blue is the Sun in a specific wavelength, brown is Jupiter clouds, black is the Hubble deep field, red is the top of sprites, orange is a Mars crater, yellow is the surface of Io, green is a lake with algae, blue is Neptune, and purple is the Crab Nebula in a specific wavelength.
thoughts on Dragonfly (Titan mission)?
personally, I am excited! It'd be cool to see what the surface of other moons are like, especially one that orbits a gas giant
what's your opinion on the use of nuclear fission reactors in spaceflight? how about Project Prometheus specifically?
I think nuclear fission is cool, and the way it has been used is also pretty neat! It's kinda hard for me to put it into words, but imagining what someone would say to this in the 1600's or earlier makes me feel all giddy in a way. Idk how to explain it. And I much rather nuclear technology is used to traverse space than build bombs.
im sad it didn't have the funds to properly proceed. It's always disappointing that someone's ideas didn't get to make it to fruition, not because it didn't work but because investors didn't find it "profitable." However it did lay groundwork for other nuclear fission engines and it's nice that it can carry out through other space crafts
(crazy to think it was canceled 20 years ago. It can legally drink alcohol right now. (Started in 2003))
i don't remember submitting this ask, which means that I submitted this ask over a year ago before my super long break from Tumblr that I only just returned from
i love your blog and will continue to follow it!
tbh I think my Tumblr bugged out and showed me old asks from a while back cause when I went back to the four or so that "was there" it was empty after lol
But thanks anyways, I'm glad to hear from you guys
