Acepella 1D is something VERY unique and special.

This makes me smile SO big every time I listen to it. It’s one of the things that made me realize I was ridiculous for writing them off. Those harmonies? They don’t come around every day.

simon cowell didn’t give one direction their talent or their dedication or even their overwhelming success. one direction did that themselves. simon cowell has pulled together numerous groups who went on to succeed far less. harry styles, louis tomlinson, niall horan, liam payne, and zayn malik owned their own personal talent and they put their own hearts and souls into their work. all simon cowell did was see an opportunity to exploit five young boys for his own profit, without regard to their health and safety and their exposure in media. simon cowell deserves no credit for the phenomenon that was one direction or the talent of each member. his manipulation and greed do not make him a genius. they make him an asshole. give credit to the young boys who grew into men and earned their success.
