Character Commission (2020)
A friend of mine asked me to illustrate the D&D Characters of his players. I wasn’t expecting the 6 foot possum character with a robot but here we are. I had a wild amount of fun designing each one.

This is heavily inspired by Trevor Easley from Artstation. The image just rung a bell when I made Saga–and then it was 3 AM and I had done this.

Rei’s life is defined by memory, whether she acknowledges that or not. She’s haunted by remnants of it and does her best to live despite it. She’s a character that I’ve had for a very long time and has changed drastically over the years, but at her core, Rei represents the possibility of overcoming the horrors that appear in life.

In our DND session last week we finally got around to the Big Bad but he got away, one of my friends following after him in a blind rage. So, we need a way to catch up and fast. Obviously, I suggest that 10-year-old dragon I manage to con into helping me out last week. But. Well. You know. Hindsight is 20/20, but he did get us there quickly. ( @zach9293 )
Of course, it turns out that dRAGON FLIGHT IS OUR FIGHTER’S PREFERRED METHOD OF TRAVEL.
Eteros (2019)
Trouble stirs beneath the ground and three crowns emerge from the darkness, each touched by the Mad God Cyric himself. Standing at the precipice of chaos are three heroes—not exactly the ones they needed, but they’re the ones that showed up.
It took over a month to complete but it’s finally finished. I’m really proud of this piece. Not only is this the heaviest-character piece I’ve done but it’s also a huge improvement on how I treat color, form, and lighting. It’s a gift piece but it’s also a piece to show how far I’ve come in the last year.
Also: I’d like to cite ABDIllustrates as a big source of inspiration for this. Nearly the entire time I referenced his use of color and how he goes about applying that which helped me immensely as I usually tend to go too dark. He’s very talented and has inspired me in my own creativity a lot in the last year.
