sunlight pounds between her brow, peeking rebelliously through shut curtains. nara groans in protest burying her face farther into a pillow. she scrubs a rough hand over her face and turns over, begrudgingly opening her eyes to watch the ceiling fan and it’s cyclical beat. her shoes and dress lay abandoned by the foot of the bed. she’s in a sweatshirt undoubtedly one of kat’s and she wishes this was her first time waking up here. but memory takes her back to every drunken night and ten other sweatshirts just like this one. she wondered if kat ever got tired of being her night in shining armor. she tossed the covers the side not bothering to stifle a yawn as she trudges out into the living room. her hangover hits her like a freight train eliciting another groan and a pout. she collapses in the chair across from katsumi and begins to pick breakfast off of her plate. “i didn’t do anything career ending-ly stupid right? besides come home with you. if we keep this up the netizens are going to think we’re engaged in an illicit affair.” she moves through the room practiced and comfortable as if she’s done it a thousand times. pouring herself a mug of black coffee and picking a muffin from the cabinets.
