Still clinging to him, the Goddess looked around the area. She still hadn’t figured out her bearings here, either.

“Well, usually if we go towards the really well-lit and busy areas, that’s often a place where shops are!”

squinting at her some,   he was confused with her lack of self - awareness to the area . . . but then again,  she was somewhat of an airhead.  he knew where some  shops  were,  but nothing high end.  nino had a habit of stealing,  but nothing more than what he needed  --  anything past basic necessities seemed excessive.

             ❝you sound exasperated and honestly it’s kind of exasperating me trying to figure out why…?❞ it wasn’t that clementine didn’t understand, she just…no, she actually didn’t understand. ❝the only other option besides leave it broken is fix it. do i look equipped to do that? no.❞ she did live in an apartment, so in theory there should be someone she could call. not that clem wanted to invite someone inside her home, really. ❝uhh…yeah. it’s under the bathroom sink, i think?❞ amongst the three hundred other things she had jammed in there.

he should have known not to look for any logic in her thought process  ---  if it’s broken,  just leave it broken?  as if there wasn’t people that  fixed  these things for you when you lived in an apartment.   ❝  you’re really a weirdo.  ❞  nino said,  ignoring the question that she threw at him.  instead,   he just pushed past her to her bathroom,   starting to dig under her sink to find the shower head.  if she wasn’t going to fix it,   he was going to give it a go he supposed.  otherwise,  she was just going to look like a complete  greaseball every time he saw her,  and if he had to be honest . . . it wasn’t a good look.  he wasn’t known for dressing nicely,  or caring about those things,  but he did have the decency to shower.   

             ❝no, but i rent one.❞ feeling his eyes on her she purposely musses up her hair further while refusing to even spare him a glance. ❝the shower head busted off a month ago, so it just shoots water out. not sure what you want me to do, nino.❞ hosing her off at this point would be the easiest option.

“Still! Cold or not, hugs are nice, right?” She felt like Nino needed as many hugs as she could possibly give him. “Also, I missed you.” Giggling, she pressed a kiss atop his head and finally released him.

“We don’t have to get you a new coat, but we should go somewhere together!”

   “ ATTITUDE? pfff yeah right! i’m a total princess. “

   “ GOD! can’t i catch a break here? i’m cute. what am i doing wrong?”
