everything in his body was saying abort, abort, abort. taeyoung rubs the back of his neck and chuckles, nervously. "yeah they do..." his eyes widen. "oh of course! i'll take the couch, no problem. no issue." he licks his lips and shakes his head. idiot. he's an idiot. taeyoung check his phone and then looks around. "we should have a car outside." when they walk outside, it takes him a moment to spot the car and the driver. "here," he says, leading ashley to the car. "it's about a thirty minute ride." he clears his throat and opens the door for her, just like a proper boyfriend would.

his reaction is charming, even a bit, and ashley can't help but laugh, soft and light. "of course." she quotes him, nodding her head amused. she follows suit, outside, to the car when he spots it. "oh, that's not bad! what did you say the plan for the wedding was?" she asks, bowing her head politely as he opens the door for her and again as she slides into the backseat. she's quick to greet the driver, fingers nervously drumming against her knees as she waits for taeyoung to get inside as well and continue their conversation.

taeyoung couldn't believe he was actually going through with this. it was one thing to go to his ex-fiancée's wedding, it was another to bring a completely fake girlfriend. he rolls his eyes at her response. god, could she feel the anxiety radiating off of him? taeyoung gives ashley a curt nod. "the question is- are you okay with this? they have us set up in a group villa. every couple-" he winces. "has their own room."

she scrunches her nose at the way he nods at her, but doesn't comment further on it. instead, ashley listens surprisingly closely to taeyoung. the question is almost like a bucket of cold water being poured on top of her, her whole body stutters with the realisation of what he's saying "yeah-" it comes out a bit chocked "that's what couples do, share a room." smooth ashley, smooth "you're sleeping on the couch right?" she pulls herself together quickly, smile bright on her lips as she nudges taeyoung with her elbow gently, pushing her suitcase along the smooth tiles of the airport floor.

ashley thinks its a bit funny, the whole situation. "i mean, you asked so nicely how could i say no?" she says, a bit of tongue and cheek as she watches taeyoung take care of their suitcases, reaching out for her own as soon as the wheels hit the ground. she smiles up at him, more of a grin than anything really "hey, it's all good." she insists, nodding her head assuringly as she reaches to squeeze his shoulder "you sure you're okay with this?"
