Although @shunsuisuggestions insists I am at least an 11 but I don’t listen to him 

I do wish that @shunsuisuggestions would allow the occasional care package through, however. I can’t remember the last time I tasted tea.

And no, @shunsuisuggestions will not be allowing anything through. You will just have enjoy the memory of tea. Savor it.

There was another classic of Lisa-dono’s oeuvre in the same box – what extraordinary luck! A work that did remarkably well in Soul Society, although I feel the complex political dimension of this novel at the time was largely underappreciated. Oddly prophetic in some ways, the plot revolves around the construction of four giant spires at each corner of the most densely populated stretch of an unnamed city. The organisation that has commissioned the towers covertly wishes to use these sinister constructions for unsanctioned intelligence purposes. Wily engineer Kousuke Uramae must disguise himself as a construction worker to infiltrate the building site and install counter-intelligence measures of his own. Project supervisor ‘Boss’ Shuraku and the secretive Kousuke each contrive to keep a keen eye on the other, but who is deceiving whom as to his true motives…?

At least that explains why I was dreaming of a cake full of birds last night – I mean, other than all the party talk, of course, but I generally do prefer my cakes not to burst out into a whole flock of cheeping havoc the second you cut into them. Still doesn’t explain how @yushirosuggestions got his hands on a photo, though?
