How you met -You guys met at a coffee shop,  -you two met by pure chance -He dropped his wallet, and you picked it up for him, something small like that -you both made eye contact as you handed it back to him -your hands had a bit of a touch too -embrace the uwu  -when you looked at his face you were like WOAH -you wondered if he was real -little did you know it was the same reaction for you from him -you two talked for a bit whilst waiting for coffee -but then said goodbye -both of you regretted not asking for numbers -but you got another chance by freak chance -it was raining - you got off the bus to meet a friend, and tried your best to stay dry -you failed -suddenly there was an umbrella over you -you guessed it-, its NOT Jaemin -its your friend Jeno. -Jeno says he wants you to meet some of his friends, since you were new in town -you agreed -you both headed to that same coffee shop -When you walked in the door you heard something like a dolphin -”thats chenle” -When you sat down, you heard the bell jingle again, indicating someone entered. -boom, its Jaemin. -”sorry i was late- y/n?” -so yea, you two had a mutual, funny huh -You both started talking a LOT more -he was quite flirty -honestly you were already whipped -so was he -He offers you his jacket, because he had an umbrella so he wasnt wet, whilst you were soaked from the rain. -that made you fall harder -you both exchanged numbers -he messaged you right away, that would make you smile How he asked you out -he would wait -probably until you were both really close -but mainly because he was nervous - he didnt know if you felt the same -but you clearly did -Jeno would have to convince him -but hed eventually ask you if you wanted to watch a movie  -you agreed, assuming the others would be there -they were not -honestly, was a bit awkward at first -he would wait till the right moment, and would smile at you -Youd look at him and be like??? why r u staring and smiling -hed use some cheesy line like -”because youre pretty” -or -”i got lost in your eyes” -either way, youre now blushing -if you looked down hed softly tilt your chin up so you were looking at him -”would you go out with me?” hed say, lookinf at you directly -Youd be in shock -hed think he said something wrong -he definitely did not -youd shake your head and wrap your arms around his neck -youd probably jump a bit too fast, making you lose your balance -his arms, around your waist, to stop you from falling -but you just fall onto him -he chuckles and hugs you tightly -”didnt know you were that eager “ hed wink -he realises you still havent answered -he would most likely hold you close until you answered him -ofc it was a yes Daily life as a couple -waking up from a nap on the couch, in his arms  -was the BEST -he would legit cuddle to you -didnt let you go -HOODIES -he loves to see you in his clothes -seeing you with sweater paws makes him uwu -hed pull on your (his) hoodie strings so you were close enough to kiss -CuDdLes -all . the . time. -no complaints though, -they were the best. -hed always hold your hand -Loves to take you places -SPOILS you -thinks youre the light of his life -will randomly back hug you -likes to tease you only because youre cute -especially when youre mad -but when youre really mad -he will apologise -expect more hugs -apology hugs -he will try to cook for you -i repeat, try. -lots of long text conversations when he is away working -you are close with the dreamies -anniversaries are over the top -like he takes you to an amusement park -takes you on scary rides bc he likes it when you hold him -probably (if he is allowed) makes a post about it -takes LOTS OF PHOTOS -cutie probably has them on his wall -he has a photo of you in his phone case -”to make sure he always wakes up beside you, no matter where” -he teases you about your height -which is annoying -but also really cute - both of you are so sweet -cutest couple on the blockTM -honestly adorable

“no ‘thank you’?” you chuckle, patting his cheek as he sips; immediately you pull it away in disgust, wiping the dampness from his skin on your shorts. “you should probably shower before we go see that movie.”

he groans, feigning annoyance with an exaggerated pout. “ughhh baby, do i have to? i’m too tired.” 

“jaem, it’s just a quick rinse. and i’m not going out in public with you smelling like–” you scrunch your nose– “that.”

you soon regret saying that, because a second later, his arms are tightly caging your frame, pressing you tight against his chest. you feel laughter twist your stomach as you try to escape his hold, hitting his sides until he lets go of you. 

“let’s go, angel. i promise i’ll take a shower before we go out,” jaemin giggles at you and tucks a strand of hair behind your ear. “i mean, only if you join me though.”

The computer beeped as you pressed your index finger to the bio reader, clocking you in. The voices in the market dwindled down to a soft chatter as the evening was winding down and you were practically flying out of the doors as your manager called out his goodbyes.

“See you tomorrow, y/n!”

“Bye, Jaehyun! Don’t let the customers walk over you while I’m gone!”

Jaehyun was the store manager who was way too nice for his well being. He often found himself calling you through his walky-talky for you to settle customer disputes while he stood idly behind, silently hoping he wouldn’t have to be involved in any type of confrontation. You always thought he could be doing bigger things outside of managing a supermarket with his delicate and handsome features but he’d always swat you away, smiling bashfully every time you brought it up.

You arrived at the bus stop down the street just as the bus pulled up. You opted out of taking the subway for the night for a change of scenery. The homeless people and the grimy tiled floors weren’t exactly a mood-lifting sight. You made a mental note to walk a bit faster if you were going to take the bus in the future.

Hugging your backpack to your chest, you chose the nearest empty seat and sat down next to the window.  You rubbed your aching knees as you stared out at the ominous black sky. You’d woken up at the crack of dawn for your shift at the tiny shoe store down the block then went straight to your second job at the market. Sure, it was exhausting but you had your little brother and a burdensome mother to take care of. You rarely had the luxury to relax or even do your homework and you could forget about studying.

Your sorrowful thoughts were interrupted when you heard the voices of several boisterous boys screaming, cutting through the quiet night. You peered out of the open window to see a group of boys at the skate park having some sort of competition. One of them was skating down a ramp while another jumped over a small set of stairs. They all clustered together at the bottom of the ramp high-fiving each other and cheering. It was the familiar head of pink hair and his heart-wrenching smile that caught your eye, his eyes crinkling in that cute way it always did when he laughed really hard. Na Jaemin, the captain of the school lacrosse team, was well known for his athleticism and his good-hearted nature. There wasn’t a girl in ten-mile radius that he couldn’t get, not that he interacted with girls much. He was always too busy hanging out with his teammates or working on school work, whether it be for the student council or extracurricular activities. Jaemin and his pals, Donghyuck, Jeno, and Renjun had been together since kindergarten and many years ago you were just as important to the group as any of them were.

The Initial Meeting

It was as if stars clouded his vision every time he saw you. A sweet smile decorated your face as you laughed with your friends - leaning over your desk to hear them better. Jaemin was positive that you were the cutest thing he’d ever seen. This little crush had been going on for much too long. He’s sure that knowing your favorite color without even speaking a word to you isn’t normal. Right? Paying no mind to this, he leaned his head against his arm - a lovesick look etched onto his face. Before he could even realize it, he’d leaned too much forward and knocked his books of off his desk. A blush appeared on his cheeks, but when you came over to help him he couldn’t have cared less about it. Leaning down to grab his Economics textbook, you feathered a strand of your hair behind your ear - leaving Jaemin gulping. “Umm…thanks”

Infatuation 

Ever since you helped out Jaemin about his clumsy antics, he fell even harder for you. Nobody had ever been so sweet to him, and it meant so much  - no matter how little of a favor it was. He was determined to pay you back. It was hardly a chore, seeing that complimenting and wanting to help you already came naturally to him. Although, now he had to actually act on those types of things instead of just thinking of it. The task seemed awkward at first, but after seeing some annoying girl joke about your appearance, the fear soon fled his mind. He’d walk you outside and sit you down, forcing a halfway melted ice cream treat into your hand. Ruffling your hair with the other, he comforted you the best he could. “You’re perfect! Don’t let those losers tell you otherwise, okay?”

Becoming a Couple

Despite what everyone thought, Jaemin had never formally asked you out. His friends always thought of him as someone who’d set up an extravagant picnic, sing to you and ask you out under the stars. But they were much too far from the truth. The commitment came naturally between the two of you, and before you could even realize it - you’d be dating Jaemin for months. Eating together and hanging out at movie theaters soon turned into Saturday night dates and lazy Sundays at your place. Although, neither of you minded it. Jaemin’s shy attempts of holding your hand that had now evolved into sweet forehead kisses surely weren’t anything regrettable. These days you would make jokes about it, though. “Jaemin, why didn’t you ever ask me out?” you’d giggle, pressing your forehead against his. “Good thing you’re stuck with me now, right?”

Students filtered into the small classroom ready for the second lesson of the day - sociology. Jisung had already sat down with his notebook out when you made your way to your desk behind him, giving him a small smile as you walked past.

“And what are you writing Mr Park Jisung?” Chenle’s voice seemed to boom over the classroom and suddenly everyone’s eyes were on a bright red Jisung. Jisung, in return, was glaring at Chenle, trying to snatch back the piece of paper that Chenle had taken out of his hands. “Please just give it back.” It was normal for Chenle and Jisung to tease each other - that’s what best friends did after all - but this time it didn’t seem like Jisung was too fond of the teasing. “Not until I read it.” Chenle giggled to himself, the rest of the class still fully invested in the commotion that was going on in front of you.

Chenle cleared his throat dramatically, straightening the piece of paper in his hands, “Dear y/n,” Chenle raised his eyebrows, Jisung’s eyes widening. “I don’t know how to say this, but I really like you...” Chenle speech trailed off as he realised what he had just done - reveal his best friend’s crush to the rest of the class. Everyone’s eyes, including Jisung’s, had now turned to face you. The same cherry red blush on Jisung’s cheeks, finding its way to yours.

“I- i can explain,” Jisung began to stutter, taking a big gulp as he observed the look of bewilderment on your face. “You,” Your eyes furrowed in confusion, “you like me?” You hadn’t meant to sound as shocked as you did but Jisung was one of the most popular people in the school, and well, you were just you. Jisung’s eyes scanned around the room, the fact that everyone was watching you two causing his heart rate to spike. Nevertheless, he knew how he felt, and he knew he had to tell you, no matter who was watching.

“I like you y/n,” he looked you directly in the eyes, a potent mix of anxiety and adrenaline pumping through his body, “in fact, i like you a lot. I like how you always try to smile, how you don’t try to be anyone else, how you’re kind to everyone you meet.” Jisung chuckled at how stupidly big his crush was on you, his hand finding the back of his neck and rubbing it. He had a surprisingly big grin on his face for someone who had just announced his crush in front of a group of thirty teenagers.

But you didn’t mind, you liked seeing Jisung smile.

You could feel the nerves building in your stomach, the looming audience around you adding to your anxiety, of course, you liked Jisung back, but how were you supposed to tell him that when it felt like the whole world was watching. Feeling Jisung’s smile slipping from his mouth, you quickly grabbed the notepad and pen you had gotten out of your bag when you first sat down, and began writing. I really like you too Park Jisung :) Placing the lid back on the pen, you proceeded to carefully rip the piece of paper from the loops or the pad, folding it in half before sliding it across your desk to Jisung, too nervous to make eye contact with the boy.

A few moments, that seemed like centuries, passed and you felt two soft lips on your skin, planting a small peck and leaving what felt like a bright red burning mark. A small “thank you” was then whispered into your ears before you heard the teacher enter the classroom, ordering everyone back to their seats. “Thank you for what?”

“Thank you for liking me back.”

A/N: I loved the idea and I love Jisung so it is just the perfect combination. I also decided to make 1/3 of a moodboard at the top because I couldn’t find a gif i liked...

Jisung silently closes the door to the dance room and dims the overhead lights. He is completely alone as he opens his backpack and pulls out seven wax candles and a box of matches. Using the light from his phone, Jisung lays six candles out in the shape of a star, leaving enough room for him to sit in the middle. With shaking hands, he opens the box of matches and carefully lights the six candles surrounding him, letting out a small yelp when it first catches fire. He moves his phone and bag to the side, sits in the centre of the star, lights the last candle, and places it in front of him. “Okay Jisung, breathe,” he mutters to himself. Here goes nothing…

“Excuse me,” Jisung says rather loudly, surprising himself, although his voice is clearly quivering. “Whoever is listening, I would please like to make a request.” He reaches down to clutch the candle in front of him in a desperate attempt to calm his shaking hands. “I am going to debut soon and would like a friend so I am not lonely. Someone who will accept me and be there for me no matter what. Please send the kindest person you can think of!” Jisung finishes, quickly voicing his gratitude. Nothing happens. He waits a few more moments before deciding this whole idea was a waste of time. Then, he hears something. 

“I’m the boss to the world…” 

The phrase is quiet, muffled by the soundproofed walls, so Jisung isn’t completely sure he actually heard something at all. Maybe his mind is just playing tricks on him?

“Neol aetaeuge hal nom hot dog.” 

Jisung releases the candle from his grip and confusion crosses his face. No, he definitely wasn’t going crazy. The confusion turns to fear as he realises the voice is coming closer to the dance room with each word sung. 

“I feel like I wear….” 

The lights are flickering now, the voice causing the ground to shake. Jisung is frozen in place, unable to move. But the pure horror he feels is evident. What has he done? Suddenly, the door is kicked down, breaking at the hinges, revealing a teenage boy with a wicked grin on his face. 

“GOOSE GOOSE!” 

The room is plunged into darkness as the candles are extinguished and lights shattered by the sheer force of the boy’s lyrics. There is a short silence before uncontrolled, high pitched laughter fills the room. 

Jisung screams.

[lucky shot] you shove jisung away from you, and he laughs. 

“you don’t deserve me.” you grumble, crossing your arms as you look away from him. he playfully frowns. 

“of course i don’t! you’re the bestest friend in the world!” you roll your eyes, hoping that he wouldn’t notice the smile peeking onto your face. 

“that’s not even a word jisung.” before he could reply, you both hear his coach’s voice calling his name. he nods his head at you, giving you a small side hug before running across the court to join his team. 

jisung loved basketball. he loved watching the chicago bulls, the bucks, or the golden state warriors with chenle. yet, he loved playing the sport as much as he loved watching it. you’ve listened to him countless of days, describing the thrill of running up and down the court. you didn’t understand his love for it at first, but as he constantly spilled his excitement and passion for it all over you, you had a new insight on his mind. his passion for it hadn’t matched his talent, however. it wasn’t even close. freshman year of high school and jisung had already made the varsity team. jisung’s talent had always outshone his passion. he hadn’t even realized it yet. however, you did. 

that was one of the things that made you fall for him. everyday you were the one that would take him in. every little piece of him you knew and because of that, you didn’t stop yourself from giving your heart to him. 

jisung was a shy boy. he was a tall and lean guy, almost broody looking. but he was instead a soft person on the inside. he had a big heart and most of time it would swell just by looking at you. 

he spent all of his days loving you. out of all the things you knew about jisung, this was the one secret he had kept until he couldn’t wait any longer to tell you. 

the buzzer had rung in the gym, echoing through the room. jisung looks nervous as it’s the first game of the season. there were people in the room he needed to impress. not only the college scouts, or his parents, but you too. as his teammates warmed up, he looked up from his place. he saw your smile immediately. he smiled to himself as he ran from the court and to the bleachers. the screams and the hollers thrown at him faded away as soon as he caught sight of you. 

“give me a kiss!” he yelled over the noise. your neck turns to match the face with the voice. your cheeks flare. even over the loud gym, you feel as if your heart overpowered it by a million. 

“what?” you ask in a confused daze. 

“give me a kiss! i won’t be able to play unless you give me a kiss.” jisung pants. 

with a dazed smile, rosy cheeks, and a combusting heart, you take a step towards your basketball boy. your arms wrap around his neck, pulling him down to you. you stand on your tippy toes. as you shut your eyes, jisung grabs the back of your head, dragging you into him. as his lips touch yours, it was like every other cliche romance movie. you definitely felt the fireworks. 

you still felt it when jisung made the buzzer winning shot. you still felt it when he ran to you in joy as the confetti fell from the sky. you even felt it as he kissed again, your lips molding together perfectly. 

it was still there as jisung leans his head on yours, whispering.

you had your head resting on jisung’s lap as his fingers played with little strands of your hair. 

“park jisung,” you say, looking up at your boyfriend who was entranced by his phone.

“i like you,” you blurt out randomly. you watch as his cheeks flush.

jisung bit his lip, hoping it would stop him from smiling like an idiot. “i don’t like you,” he teased, breaking his gaze from his phone to look down at you. 

you sit up, twisting to look at your boyfriend with a scowl, “oh really now?”

“mhm,” he nodded his head cockiy.

“okay then, since you don’t like me, you don’t get kisses,” you tell him before standing up and stomping to your shared bedroom sulkily. 

“ah y/n! you can’t do that!” jisung whine as he followed your footsteps. he laid down next to you when he saw you on the bed. 

“you said you didn’t like me!” you exclaim as you laid on your side, facing your lover. 

“no~” he shook his head cutely, “that wasn’t me.”

you couldn’t help but giggle at his words while jisung cracked up with you. 

“then who was i talking to?” you ask him, amused by his jokes. 

“my evil twin.”

you let out another roar of laughter. 

“now will you give me kisses?” he pouts.

“that depends,” you tease me. “i only give kisses to my boyfriend who likes me back.”

“i am your boyfriend and i like you a lot,” he tells you, his eyes doe.

“okay, then i can give you a kiss,” you tell him before craning your neck to press your lips against his soft ones.

So you got bored one day 

and decided to watch some vlives 

you watched mostly NCT’s vlives because you loved staring at your boyfriend’s face

you started with the live of just him and Chenle 

probably screenshot the video 40 times because he looked so good 

then you watched the one where Dream reacted to GO 

finally you went all the way back to the first vlive they had in 2018

the one where Leeteuk was the MC and they introduced all the members + the 3 new members and Nana 

when they introduced Jisung 

he came out and started popping while they sang happy birthday

you felt talentless cause holy monkey he’s so talented

and you’re so what? a broken clown,,,

so you call Jisung and ask him to teach you how to pop 

“chickie poo can you show me how to pop?”

he laughs and thinks for a second before agreeing to teach you 

he tells you to meet him at the dorm by 12pm tomorrow 

you two walk hand in hand towards the practice room

when he lets go, you try it for yourself and end looking like you’re having a legit seizure 

Jisung falls to the ground laughing 

your face fill with a cherry color as you sit on the ground 

he breathes out his laughter and picks you up 

“I’m sorry baby girl, that was funny. Don’t worry my popping was terrible too.”

he decides to show you something different

after repeating the move 20 times

you finally get it semi clean

still kinda shitty but you tried
