I'd say I'm torn between songs. tokyo was my favorite off the bat because it was so calming and I liked the lyrics. everythinggoes was another favorite because of the composition and build up in he instrumental and the lyrics are comforting. forever rain is just a hard-hitting and good song.

You’re definitely not stupid. I understand that it’s really not always easy to keep your grades up, there are a lot of factors that get in the way. On top of that, grades do not define your self-worth. You may not be good at school subjects, but maybe you have knowledge in other places, this is the same for everyone; you are not stupid.

Yes, studying would help raise your grades, but do not pressure yourself. If you’re feeling down about yourself, studying could become a hard process. It’s best to do it little by little, if possible. Study for half an hour - an hour one night, then gradually increase. And whilst doing so, take care of yourself. Remember to keep your hygiene up, and if you have to write post-it notes telling you that “you’re intelligent”, “you’re wonderful”, “you’re doing great!”, then by all means do it.

First thing’s first; do not kill yourself. That is not going to solve anything. I promise you that this type of hurt is only temporary. You are going to meet so many people in your life and you will find the right friends for you. All of us have had our state of depression and loneliness, but you will find the right people and you will feel better.

How do you know no one cares about you? I care about you. I may not know you personally but I know that you shouldn’t kill yourself. The fact that you sent me this ask is proof. You’re asking for help, you’re reaching out, which is good. That’s the first step to healing.

You should try to talk to the people who are making you upset. You need to know the full story. Don’t make assumptions. Sometimes people send off wrong signals or say things the wrong way. Usually it’s because they’re ignorant and don’t realize what they’re doing. It’s important to communicate and talk to other people. Don’t let all of this bottle up.

There might never be someone who ever truly understands you. Everyone has their own difficulties and their own struggles they’re going through. Not one person’s life is exactly the same. Someone can relate to you on many levels, but they will never truly understand you because they aren’t you. It’s hard to open up to people but you’re going to need to do it in order to find someone who will care for you. It’s never going to be easy, and you’re going to fall down at times and someone who might care at first might not care later on. But you will find someone. There is someone. Maybe even multiple people.

It just gets worse. To the point where I’m almost numb. Please give me some way to get rid of the pain without harming myself. I’m sorry if I’m just ranting. I couldn’t keep it up anymore. Thank you.

Sweetheart, don’t resort to harming yourself, please. That is not the right thing to do. If you have, and think about doing it, it’s okay; thoughts are just thoughts until you proceed to act upon them. If you’re in a depressed state, it’s normal to want to harm yourself, but I ask that you don’t do it, because it just makes things worse, honestly.

As for finding no reason to go on, think of all the wonderful things you can do in your life. All of the places you can go, the people you can meet or even the music you can listen to. Even if it seems like something simple and silly, it’s not. It’s keeping you alive, and that’s important.

Things are not going wrong because of you. It is perfectly normal to think that this is how it is, though. You are not crazy for thinking like this because everyone does whenever things seem to be falling apart. They blame themselves despite it not being their fault. Sometimes it is no one’s fault; things just happen and it is out of our control. It is also normal to feel numb and to cry and to think that things won’t get better, but please don’t actually believe it won’t ever get better. Many people can tell you from their personal experience that it certainly does. There are a lot of things that will weigh you down, and yes, it gets very tough, but, if it helps, remember this quote:

“An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it’s going to launch you into something great. So just focus, and keep aiming.”

This may sound selfish of me, but if any of my followers could lend an ear, I would really appreciate it. I haven’t been feeling very well the past week as I’ve been thinking about my friend a lot, and I’m at a point where I can’t stop crying right now.
