Stripped To The Core

All of the life events in these 200(+) lives aboard this plane lead them to be there, in that plane, going to the same, yet different places. Where were they going? There I was, standing on the pavement, near the beach sand, looking at the sky, contemplating the lives flying out beyond these sands. And here I am now, a year later, still contemplating, not only about this plane, but every other plane I see...tell me where you're going.

One thing that will always make me feel at home, the ocean. Typical, I know. But you would be amazed by home many people I know that don't like being here. The sand, uncanny. To me, it is like a warm hug, welcoming and inviting. The salt in the water like a bitter hello. Yeah, I feel small here, but it reminds me how big this world is. How everything is not controllable, so you work it out with what you have. That's when small things become great...again.

Not everything is sad tho, this bird scared us a little...the way it was just standing right in the brink of the sidewalk, just kind of staring at us. Maybe we were tripping, maybe the bird itself was a little frightened. We turned around and it was gone. Got out of your car and enjoyed the park and the birds and the breeze. The bird was still funny tho haha

At a crosswalk, yet Im walking next to it. It is late, it's also holiday season, so everyone that's someone is somewhere, i was there in the middle of the road, punching concrete pillars all the way home.

Christmas, or maybe Thanksgiving 2015. Talked to no one that day. First person I spoke to was a police officer as I left a local Walgreens with my tea and chip. Said I looked like a runaway they were looking for…I didn’t believe him, but I showed him my identification anyway. I do t think I cared at that point.

I laughed as you drive around in search for a good spot to roll a few, then to the carnival we went. Not much to do in this small town, but so much to experience when we're one. We both stopped to take a photo of the palm trees, the sun and the moon.
