BittASweetZ!

The Nakano Division of BittASweetZ is an all female rap group consisting of content creator and leader Ririko Akihara, unemployed insomniac Shu Kawakami, and designer Alice Shiroka.

The group’s color is a light yellow,and their symbol is a star,which Ririko chose simply because she thought the colors and star was cute.

Every member of BittASweetZ has a star somewhere on their body,with Ririko having a star patch on the hoodie she always wears,Shu having a star bracelet,and Alice having a star pendant.

The doorbell in front of Kawakami residence gave out its joyous sound in contrast to its resident who had just rubbed her bleary eyes before deciding to go check it up.

…Just like usual, it must be a delivery man dropping some groceries at her place again since her busy aademic life had made it somewhat difficult to go shopping for something by herself —That what the tired university student thought until she opened the doors and found a mysterious large box at her doorstep

…Wait a second? She did recall she had never ordered this big?

However, her doubt was soon answered by a small card attached to the box;

Hello and happy birthday! This is undoubtedly from someone you have ever shown your hospitality by sending in some tasty sweets on my birthday last month! And that’s why as a thanks, I thought it should be a must to return your kindness in some way or another too —Well then, please enjoy my present!

Finishing the little note, the insomniac girl then unboxed this mysterious parcel with a paper-cutter and soon something crispy golden in color was exposed to her sight…

—Hmm? What is this, giant dinosaur nuggets?!

[ Mod’s message: Sorry for being super late in the reply to your division’s gift! This month has got me kinda busy and I’m just too greedy on adding too much details lol But I’d like to inform that Miraitabi’s reply is up next in my queue!]

“ Oh, so these are from Yuuya? Yeah, I remember him, made some daifuku for him for his birthday. So that’s what he meant by that..”

Shu chuckles, lining up the dino nugget pillows alongside the included ketchup packet pillow.

“This is nice, he must’ve really enjoyed his gifts to give me something like this. Though, I already have enough pillows as we speak..Ah, I know what I could do.”

She takes a couple of the pillows and heads off, calling her little sister’s name.

“Rika! I got something for you!”

Wait, Was that the doorbell?

Struggling to get to the door, Shu Kawakami finally mustered the strength to open it. Stifling a yawn, She noticed a tall figure in front of her. She sported brown hair, Vermilion eyes and a package in her hands.

“Hello…You’re Kawakami right…?” The figure asked, Receiving a tired nod.

“I’m Mai, Yousei Mai. You’ve probably heard of Fukuoka’s 2nd team OverDrive before. So…I decided to give this as a birthday present.” Mai explained, Handing the parcel to her.

“Happy birthday…Don’t mind me, I had to get up early to get here…” Mai yawned, Mustering a smile as they left.

Inside…Were a set of lavender themed candles, Dedicated to help with sleeping problems.

“ Oh, hey. Ririko told me about your division, so it’s nice to meet you, I guess.”

Shu takes the parcel, giving Mai a tired smile.

“ Thanks for coming all this just for a gift, Mai, was it? Tell your division mates I said hello.”

As Mai went off, Shu opens the parcel, immediately recognizing it’s contents.

“Lavender candles? Jeez, did Ririko tell everyone that I like the scent of lavender? Whatever, I’ve been needed a couple more candles, so this is a treat..”

Inside the box were two items. The first was a giant multi layer pink cake with a variety of cute little designs on it and cherries on top. The second was a cute pink charm bracelet. Inside the box was a note that Ririko picked up and began to read.

Happy Birthday! I know we've never really talked before, but I made you a cake and a gift for your special day! So enjoy!

“ You mean to tell me that THE Kanra Akemi from Wicked Requiem sent me a gift!? Someone pinch me, because I must be dreaming!”

Ririko admired Wicked Requiem, and she admired Kanra’s personality and skills, so it was a surprise that she was given a gift from her, much less two gifts!

“ Okay, that is a LARGE freaking cake! Did she bake that herself? That must’ve taken forever! And this charm bracelet is, like, so cute! God, I must be acting like a lunatic or something..Oh, I can’t help it! This is someone from an extremely well known division giving ME, the leader of some mediocre division in the middle of Tokyo, a gift!”

The pink haired girl stopped herself before saying anything else.

“Ah- I shouldn’t be saying that about myself or BittaSweetZ.. Sorry, a force of habit, I guess, hehe~ I’ll make sure to enjoy these gifts thoroughly!”

Out of the blue during the time Ririko was still getting her hands full with all the stuff she has prepared to upload on her online multiplatforms, suddenly the phone that she was currently using appeared to have a little bit of noise and then there was a figure of someone mysteriously showing up on her phone’s screen!

—Wait, was that… herself?

“Hi there, 2-cute☆ Do you have a sweet time on your B-day?”

Winking and smiling mischievously at her was the pink-haired girl in kawaii 3D model with 80% exact same features that resembled herself, however, the voice that came out of her device was clearly not hers at all.

“Greetings, this is ‘ANGE’ the special ambassador from my human’s division! Well~ Looks like the gift from them is going to arrive at your house soon… But boo~ It’s not fair that only humans can do the giftgiving to one another, right? Tee-hee☆ That’s why this time ANGE decides to join in the fray too!”

And while listening the mysterious model on her phone speaking nonstop in such a highly enthusiastic manner, then the content creator has noticed something bizarre on her phone… which was now having an unknown file pop up out of thin air —It seemed like it was a file of the virtual 3D model ready for her to use in any streaming gig that she often sees the Vtubers do on their broadcasting!

“According to what ANGE has been binging on the activities you humans do on social media lately, ANGE has found out that you have yet to have your own model for some gigs humans called ‘streaming’… Thus ANGE is determined to make you one! Hope you enjoy my gift and have a great use of them then!

—And oh, looks like the gift from my human is now arriving at your doorstep! Would you like to give it some check? Well then, see ya again next time, human~~ ANGE kinda wonder if we could become friend though”

And as soon as the mysterious persona who commuted via the virtual model was bidding her a farewell, the doorbell outside of Ririko’s apartment was starting to ring just like she said! Looks like there was some delivery arriving at her home.

Briefly checking inside her mailbox, she found a box with an adorable set of dessert earrings. In addition, there was also a card containing inside:

The pink haired girl shrieked as soon as the model appeared on her screen.

“Wah! H-How’d you get into my phone!? ANGE, huh? Well, it’s nice to meet you, but don’t you think there’s better ways of introducing yourself than hacking into someone’s phone!?”

After noticing the file that suddenly appeared, it was like a lightbulb switched on in her head.

“Ohh, so is this supposed to be your division’s birthday present? How nice! I’ve seen some pretty popular Vtubers on the ‘net, but I never thought of doing it myself. Welp, there’s a first time for everything! Thanks, ANGE, but, whose division do you belong to anyway??”

Before she got an answer, the model disappeared, followed by a sudden ring of the doorbell. When she opened the door, there was a small package at her feet. After going inside and opening it, she pulled out the set of dessert earrings, along with the note.

“Aw, these are soo cute! And they’d definitely go well with some of the pieces in my closet! A gift from Miraitabi, hm? They gifted Alice something on her birthday as well, what did she say it was? Fortune cookies and an outfit? Well, still, this is a nice gift! Even if their “representative”scared the living daylights out of me..”
