So, that's what gets priority in the evolutionary/rng build queue, because that's what gives the best return on investment. And once it's functional, and you have OTHER decisions that need optimization, you just hook the new decisions into the decision-optimizer and boom, you're in business!

What's that? You want nuance in your decision-optimizing? Sure, we can tweak some of those neurotransmitters to be slightly different, no prahblem! This is evolutionary biology, we throw all the manufacturing errors at the wall to see what sticks!

Friendly reminder, the opposite of Fight or Flight (sympathetic nervous system) is sometimes called Feed & Breed, or Resting & Digesting.

It is an internal toggle switch, you're in one or the other. So YES being stuck in fight or flight (anxiety) will absolutely screw up your digestion.
