The place is locked down when he lets the debris fall down, closing off the entrance. No one but he could open it back up. Avery was too weak to carry it. For now. He walks towards the lone lightbulb in the room and turns it on. The room is mostly bare, some things here and there, mostly left overs of the basement this used to be.

Stand and stare in pure shock comes to mind. Anger? Hurt? It'd come in a wave, soon, maybe. Remember what Alex has taught them, about how all they do is lie.
