Because Gotham is just as much as his city as Bruce, but he doesn’t care about the murder rule because he has seen such horrible shit in the Bowery and to himself via the Joker that he views the breaking of cyclical nature of Gotham crime through murderous means because he doesn’t care about protecting his morality. Jason loves Gotham so fiercely that he is willing to do anything to protect the people of his city, which is where he clashes with Bruce. Jason sees him as someone who wouldn’t put everything on the line to save Gotham (to save Jason. why is he still alive, Bruce). Many people are inspired and led to act through their sense of justice and fixing wrongs, but it’s the people who act in love who aren’t afraid to lose everything to save just one more person.

A couple of overdue New Year’s things! I feel like we all could use a Lazarus Pit to resurrect our desiccated bodies and souls left from 2020…I know I could. Here’s to hoping 2021 will be better.
