well! its kind of embarrassing to explain but i basically just wanted to make a really smart toaster...

so it has motion sensing capabilities, which i installed for convenience because if the toaster knows when you’re nearby, then it can automatically start the um.. toasting process?? :P the sounds were meant to be a notification more than anything else, because i have a tendency to go do other things while my bread is toasting...

but by no means was it ever meant to shriek in terror every time something close to it moved :( youre probably right and im going to have to go back to square one.. ive spent months on this thing and i still havent gotten it right so maybe i should just rethink the toaster concept altogether and try something else!

#i guess kitchen appliances arent really my forte #i used to build combat robots in high school!#but its been a while #so im pretty rusty :/#oglogothics

maybe!! frankly im just worried that my poor dog is going to suffer some kind of permanent trauma because every time she goes in the kitchen it makes that noise and she runs and hides under my bed :(
