I have a habit of rating my pain at about a 6-7 if I feel like I'm about to die. In my mind it's because I know the scale exists beyond my current level of pain, but others are probably not wrong in that part of it is sheer subconcious macho shit lol.

But when you're with someone who knows this, you can go in halfway to the grave, rate your pain a 6, and know your woman is right there to tell the nurse it's a 10 and you're just being an ass.

Period Japanese stuff like Kenshin and Blade of the Immortal has them, but theyre not common.

What bugs me about it is these faggots really think they're the only thing holding society together. Their retard logic is that if they strictly enforce the little rules then people will follow the big ones. The reality is that they ignore the big stuff and they nail you on whatever little things they can extort money out of you.

When a reckless driver almost slams me into a concrete wall at 70mph they tell me there's nothing they can do. Even if I get pics of the car and their plates they can't act on it.

My buddy gets attacked in a road rage incident and used pepper spray to defend himself. The city refused to release the traffic cam footage. He catches a felony for it.

Another buddy was attacked on his own property by his neighbor. Again, the cops can't do anything about it.

Another friend worked retail. She was closing by herself in the middle of the night when someone tried to break in. The police were two blocks away. It took 2 hours and 3 calls for them to show up. Her boss was on the opposite end of town and he was there in 15 minutes.

Another person I know was in a domestic violence situation. Long story short she punched him several times then broke a coffee mug on his face cutting him up pretty good. After all of that he slaps her one time with an open hand so she called the police. He was bruised and bleeding from the forehead. There wasn't even a red mark on her face. She even admitted to hitting him first. They still arrested him for dv because that slap was really crossing a line.

A friend of a friend was victim to a burglary where he had cameras on the inside of his home and got very clear footage of the burglars. The police told them they couldn't act on the video evidence.

One of my closest friends got sideswiped off his scooter by some drunk college girl several years ago. Cop showed up and ticketed him instead bc he presumably didn't know the laws surrounding driving a bike in my state, then when my buddy tried to contest it the cop and judge bro'd up to sell a whole other set of lies to keep the cop safe from scrutiny. All he got for obeying the law and trying to prove it in the way the law says he should was an even more tarnished record and a wrecked moped.
