"Ready?" you asked your boyfriend, Jisung, who was waiting in the living for you to show him your surprise.

"For your surprises?" he answered with a question. "Never." he laughed and you just playfully rolled your eyes at his remark.

"Okay, okay." you shook your head. "Here ya go!" you went to the living room and stood right in front of him. "So, what are you saying?" you moved your eyebrows up and down.

"Oh my god..." he laughed out loud. "This is so cool!" he stood up and took a closer look at your masterpiece. "Wow, I am impressed. The kids at the mall will love it." he smiled at you.

"Thank you, Ji." you smiled. "I hope so!" you nodded and went to check yourself in the mirror. "Okay... I do look good, wow."

"My sweet Grinch." Jisung kissed your hairy cheek which ended up with some green fur in his mouth. "I think that's the last kiss for now." he laughed and you with him.

And yes, the kids loved your Grinch costume.

Peace? What is peace?

Peace is a stress-free state of security and calmness that comes when there's no fighting or war, everything coexisting in perfect harmony and freedom.

Yeah, that is true.

Unless your best friend is named Zhong Chenle and you two live together in one shared flat and you also need to share a lot of things (washing dishes, doing laundry, shopping... and more). Then you don’t have the word peace in your vocabulary.

Chenle is everything but peace. And when is the time around Christmas... God bless everyone who dares to help him with anything. But you were lucky enough this year because Chenle let you decorate your small flat.

"Is that.. It?" Chenle asked you while looking around the place you just decorated. He was shopping so you two have everything for Christmas day.

"Yes," you said with a big smile. "You don’t like it..." you exhaled after seeing his odd face. "Oh my god! Of course, you don’t like it. You didn't even like the idea of letting me do that." you took a deep breath.

"Yeah, that was a mistake." he nodded and you punched his shoulder. "Ouch! Why did you... Hey, I'm the victim, I need to look at this now." he furrowed his eyebrows and you were holding yourself from jumping at him with anger.

And so this Christmas was not another peace and you didn't have peace even after. You live with Zhong Chenle. That's the price.

"What?" he looked at you from his work and widened his eyes at you. "Wow. It looks so good, Y/N. We should place it on the window so everyone can see it." he smiled at you.

"Thanks." you smiled a little. "But what happened to your gingerbread house, Sungchan?" you asked him and come to him. "Do you need help?"

"No, no, no." he laughed. "I think I'm just..." he took a piece of his gingerbread house and took a bite. "Well... At least it tastes good." he laughed once again and gave you your own piece.

You laughed too and took the piece from him. "But you were doing so good. It's a shame that... You got hungry." you shake your head and took a bite. "Oh, it really is good," you said surprised.

"Right?"

And so you and Sungchan ate his gingerbread house 'cause there was nothing to save anymore and yours was the one that was placed to be seen by people passing by your house.

"It has the word Christmas in the title." you also looked at him. "We are playing that. Sorry not sorry, Shotaro." you smiled at him and grabbed the TV remote so you could play your Christmas movie.

"Oh, c'mon!" he frowned. "But tomorrow we are playing MY favorite Christmas movie, deal?" he watched how you are searching for the best movie ever.

"Deal." you agreed and kissed his cheek. You then played the movie and silently watched it together with Shotaro who in the end changed his mind about his favorite Christmas movie.

You sat alone in your room and were busy wrapping presents for your family, friends, and boyfriend named Yangyang. You luckily had all the presents for everyone with you so you didn't have to find something last minute.

"Don't come in here!" you said loudly and with noticeable panic in your voice. "Just... Just wait a few more minutes, please," you told Yangyang who tried to go into your room.

"Yeah, I'll wait," he said confused. "But why? If you don’t mind me asking..." he asked you and waited for your reply.

"I'm wrapping presents and I don't want you to see any of them," you told him. You were just doing your last present and it was for Yangyang so he really needs to stay outside.

"Wait," he said. "You want to tell me that Santa doesn't exist?" he said panicking and you rolled your eyes at him.

"Yang..." you exhaled. "Please, don't act like a child. You know I am just helping Santa." you laughed and got into his game too. After all, he would annoy you if you wouldn't.

"Oh, yeah... I forgot you are a small elf." he laughed and you took a deep breath. You did the last present and put everything in your secret place excited for Christmas day which is almost here.

"It's time to do secret Santa!" Johnny, one of your friends, (and also the one who came up with this idea) screamed so he would get the attention of everyone.

Everyone gathered around a table in the living room and Johnny started with this whole secret Santa thing. When it was your turn, you froze a little. Everyone had such an amazing gift and you got a little insecure about yours.

"Y/N?" Jaemin, another friend of yours, called your name because he started to get concerned by your quietness. "Hey, is everything alright?"

"What?" you looked at him. "Oh, yeah. I'm fine." you smiled a little and took a deep breath. "My secret Santa is the one and only Na Jaemin," you announced and grabbed your present from behind you. "Here you go." you gave it to him.

"Thank you, Y/N." he returned your smile but in a much bigger format. Then he started to unwrap his present and you got anxious.

"Before you open it." you interrupted him. "I just want to let you know, that it's nothing big, Okay? But if you won't like it, I can buy you something much better," you added nervously.

"I bet it's perfect, Y/N." he gave you sweet smile. "C'mon, you have the best presents ever," he assured you and continued with unwrapping.

Of course, Jaemin loved your present. You gave him a handmade scrapbook with all the pictures you have together (and you have a lot). He actually teared up a little bit but he tried to mask it which made everyone laugh.

"Oh, but I am your friend." he smiled. "So I can look at this." and so he did. "What?" he furrowed his eyebrows. "What is that supposed to mean, Y/N?" he showed you the paper.

"That means, Haechan." you took the paper from him. "That you are on my naughty list and you won't get any presents for Christmas," you explained to him the obvious.

"And why am I the only one on the naughty side?" he asked you slightly angry but you knew he was just playing it; he always does.

Haechan wanted to know why is he on the naughty side, so you told him. You told him about every prank he did to you, every time he annoyed you, just everything. Well, almost. Haechan stopped you because he got your point.

"Don't act like a child, Jeno." you looked at him for a second and then went back to work again. You took a red stocking and placed it on a fridge (you had to use three magnets but it worked). "I know for sure it wasn't that bed." you moved your shoulders.

"Well, next time, you are the one who is gonna get the box," he said and handed you another stocking; green this time. "You will run screaming and without the box."

"Thanks." you thanked him for handing you the stocking and placed it on the fridge next to the red one. "Okay, bet." you turned to him. "Next Christmas, I'll get the box." you nodded and looked back at your work on the fridge. "It won't hold any fruit, right?" you asked no one in particular.

"Yeah, you are right." Jeno stood next to you. "But it looks pretty." he kissed your cheek and you smiled at him.

Yeah, you may not have a big house and lots of money but moments like this are still perfect when you have each other by your side.

"This is so freaking cute!" you let out a happy shriek. "Renjun, you need to see this! Like right now!" you screamed in hopes he would hear you and come to you, which he did. "Look at those angels, Renjun. They are handmade, would you believe that?" you said amazed. Those angels you were talking about were made by some young girls and they were also for a good reason.

"The money will go to people in need?" Renjun said a little bit surprised. "That is so kind and amazing." he smiled and looked at you. "How many we will buy?" he asked you 'cause he knows how you are when it's to people with special needs.

You looked at him with wide eyes and a big smile on your face (and he knew you are very happy about his question). "We will buy many, Renjun," you told him and started to look for angels you would like.

When you chose around fifteen angels, you gave them to one of those girls who were selling them and she put them in pretty wrapping and cute paper bags. You paid for them and happily took the bag.

"Happy?" Renjun asked you with a sweet smile on his face. "We can hang them on a Christmas tree, what you say?" he suggested.

"Very happy." you looked at him with a big smile. "Oh my God, Renjun! That is such a great idea! We need to get home, right now." you said seriously.

Renjun just laughed, took your hand in his, and walked you to his car so he could take you two to your home and decorate the Christmas tree with some handmade angels.

Hendery just nodded and looked around once again. But then he realized. He looked at you absolutely terrified. "I'm on ice!" he said shocked. "I... I am skating!"

"Yeah." you smiled. "You are skating." you kissed his nose. "I am so proud of you, Hendery. My amazing boyfriend."

Everything was good until you decided to move from your spot. You were good but Hendery... Well, when Hendery tried to move, he lost his balance and fell hard on the ice and you ended up laughing your ass off.

"That's not true!" he kicked his leg like a child that is starting a tantrum. "It's not my fault that I am gifted with the voice of an angel." he looked at you with a teasing smile and you rolled your eyes.

"You are just making fun of me when I sing with you all the time. I don't want to do that anymore." you pouted and paid for your drinks. "Here you go." you wanted to give Xiaojun his drink but he was nowhere. "Xiaojun?" you furrowed your eyebrows and started to search for him. "Oh, you got to be kidding me." you took a deep breath and turned towards the stage where was Xiaojun with a bunch of other people.

Xiaojun was smiling brightly and when he spotted you, he waved at you. You just gave him an angry look but smiled a little when the group of people started singing. You smiled because Xiaojun, of course, gave in to it his everything and outsing everyone once again.

But you can't truly be mad at him because Xiaojun always wanted to sing and he was right, he has the voice of an angel.

Save to say that Mark did this stupid joke every Christmas but you secretly love it.
