She appears to be wearing the same odori (dance) costume as Geiko Hatsuko of Kyoto, which dates to the late 1920s, long after the initial craze for the Genroku Style that was at its peak around 1904-08 in the Shinbashi hanamachi (geisha district) of Tokyo.β Β Text and image via Blue Ruin 1 of Flickr
