It's a beautiful thought The thought of two people coming together Choosing,almost being pulled in towards one another When it seemed way easier to have chosen different paths The shyness in one's eyes The tenacity in your smile Has me hooked. The warmth of your touch And how despite spending hours with you I still won't have enough of you. And it's a sad reality But the more people we involve in our lives The more we get consumer The more we exhaust ourselves We may feel as if we are on the path to becoming selfless But I feel it's more like a trail That leads to no man's land Somewhere where one just does not belong. And it was after a long while That he felt normal, to say the least As if life was finally giving him a pat on the shoulder Waiting for him to move forward for an embrace ... I feel sometimes we are reluctant to accept love, maybe because of the possibility that it might leave without warning Or be snatched away by someone who needs it more Someone who is running out of reasons to smile more often Someone who doesn't have the zeal to look forward to a new day And to bid adieu to the sun And welcome the stars with arms wide open ... And it was her laugh She had captured him all over again His heart smiled As the laughter she forcefully tried to control, Escaped through her teeth. He imagined her gorgeous,smoky eyes Becoming even tinier Her nose crinkling Her hands wishing to grab some part of him And lean her head on his chest. And he considered himself the luckiest human on earth As he was able to bring joy to her life And a child like smile to her face.
