OK SO. I’ve recently gone in and changed up how the server works a little bit, and because of that, im opening up a public link to the discord server i run for Mysticons!

yeeeee, i would have mysticons outfit stuff in there-but also just some civvies based on what we see in the show ouo maybe put in some different options for like “species” so you can make cat people and such.
for anyone curious, i’ve done a fan dollmaker already, split into 2 by gender for another fandom. So this wont be some new thing for me :P

Refs?
If anyone wants refs of anything from the show im open to trying to grab screenshots! Im also open to editing sections of the comics to create banners and such. Also if you have any screenshots you want me to redraw or edit, send em over!

So I'm rewatching mysticons, and I just realized that pipers ribbons disappearing isn't an animation error!
I'm assuming maybe her ribbons are like a power up kind of thing? Because they disappear the same way, too
But if that's the case- why? What's so special about these ribbons that they only appear when pipers got a boost of energy?
In the first gif, she got her ribbons while screaming in frustration. In the second gif, she got them while getting ready to throw the medicine at beast zarya
Maybe this was gonna be something that would've been explained in the show had it not been cancelled so soon. Since piper was part of the circus, I guess she worked with ribbons? And any past feelings she had while in the circus causes the ribbons to appear?
It's just. The fact that this was intentional. It wasn't an animation error, and, tbh, it's so rare to see her with her ribbons! She spends like 80 percent of the show without them!
Just goes to show that piper is a more special character than what the show was letting on in earlier episodes. Didn't Sean Jara himself say that they wanted to expand on pipers backstory had the series continued?
I think this is a good example on why you shouldn't wait until later seasons to expand on one of your main characters. Because now we may never know what really happened to piper, and why her ribbons are temporary
honestly i think its just either a neat little touch(something quirky that they can probably all do, but pipers personality suits minor changes more than the others), or an animation reason. Less things to animate when the ribbons arent there. Could also be used to give piper more of a feel of movement when they ARE there-like how the entire series has an overlay that causes the screen to always be moving at the edges, makes it feel less stiff.
