3 and a half of those was spent making the sketch for this lol.

This is my attempt at trying to make something more "painting esque" but whenever I try that with digital art I just get impatient so that's why it's so messy looking. I'm still really happy with how this turned out, I just wish I had more patience to render it neatly.

I did have a fun time messing around with the colours for this piece, trying to find a balance between having the characters stand out from the background while still feeling like they fit in the environment. I don't think I found the perfect solution, but like I said.. impatient lol.
