I wanted to post a small update regarding my condition and the future of this blog.
First of all, I would like to thank all of you for constantly supporting me. Iâve received countless of messages and asks asking about my condition and how I am healing. Iâm happy to say that I am healing very well and I am now able to walk around without the assistance of a scooter or walker! Itâs been almost two months since they accident and I still canât believe it happened, it seems my brain is blocking out most of the scary details.
I am working on wrapping up the Smugglers Series so I can move on to expanding other pieces (as well as releasing new series ideas that Iâve kept hidden for a while).
I also want to address the messages Iâve received regarding the plagiarization of my work on other platforms such as Wattpad. As of right now, I am working on compiling all my stories into a Wattpad book my work can reach new audiences that do not utilize Tumblr. That being said, I do not accept any requests on Wattpad because I want to focus on everything this blog has given me before I expand.
If anyone is interested in reading through my Wattpad account it is @/ibukimiodas (without the dash). Once completed, I will be posting the Smugglers Series as a separate book, but it will contain an original character, the character my Hogwarts Mystery gameplay is based off of. Iâve always wanted to post a complete book on Wattpad and I started off writing Draco Malfoy fan fiction when I was in middle school so I really canât believe how much my work has grown from then.
I truly enjoy writing and sharing these stories with all of you and I canât wait to see your feedback for everything thatâs to come. I promise all your requests will be processed and Iâve frequently thought about doing shorter requests, but my love for these characters does not allow me to.
Please let me know if you guys have any questions! Iâd love to answer them.

Hello everyone! I am so excited to finally be posting Part 5 of The Smugglers Series! I am so sorry to keep everyone waiting for so long, but I really had a creative stump when it came to continuing this, but I finally figured out the structure. This will be the fifth installment of this seven-part series, the next parts will center around their honeymoon and the Battle of Hogwarts.Â
This piece is extremely long and I tried to shorten it, but after all the waiting the fans of the series have done, I couldnât bear to leave anything out. I started writing Smugglers on a whim about two years ago after reading a Tumblr post and I cannot believe how much this story and this blog have grown. I owe you guys everything and I cannot wait to keep putting out work. I apologize for the long wait, but I went through a painful writerâs block regarding this story and I am happy to be releasing it.
Smugglers Series: Part I | Part II | Part III | Part IV
Just in case anyone was interested (and for my own visualizations sake) I compiled a picture of the wedding, maid-of-honor, and bridesmaidsâ dresses, along with pictures of the various bouquets written in the story. If you guys would like to see them, please let me know!Â
Anyways, enjoy the long-awaited continuation of âSmugglers: A Charlie Weasley Fanfictionâ
Romania. November 30th, 1994.
The Romanian Dragon Sanctuary was home to an array of dangerous species. The dragons held there ranged from both manageable and potentially deadly. But amidst the potential dangers, foul-smelling cages, and bitter weather, a certain couple spent their final month before they finally moved back to their shared home in Scotland.Â
Charlie Weasley, renowned Dragonologist, and fidgety husband to be proposed to master Gringotts Curse-Breaker (Y/N) (L/N) during the 1994 Quidditch World Cup surrounded by their family and friends. Encouraged by the outbreak after the cup and the realization that war could break out at any moment, the two worked quickly to organize and finalize their wedding.Â
The nonnative Vipertooths were having a difficult time adjusting to the brutal cold of the Romanian countryside and Charlie worked day and night to ensure they survived. Although quite small, the dragons posed a large threat to whoever handled them due to their poisonous bites and their intense, unsatisfiable craving for human flesh which Charlie â charmed by their adorability â almost fell victim to them the first couple of days they were in his care.Â
The Sanctuary workers were in full swing, carefully preparing for the upcoming blizzard. Steady tents erupted near the dragon nests and each worker was tasked with creating protective barriers around them to protect any of the eggs and their mothers.
She looked around the surrounding forest, closing her eyes and breathing in the crisp cold air, shivering as a gust of wind blew past them. âIâm going to miss this,â she spoke up, clutching the board close to her chest, âYouâve spent so much time here, it feels bittersweet to leave it behindâŠâ She understood that to grow, one must move on, but it was unusual to have their time at the sanctuary come to an end.Â
Charlie smiled sweetly, removing his scarf, and wrapping it around her to shield her from the cold breeze. He gazed at her face with admiration, running his thumb across her cold cheek as she leaned into his gloved hand.Â
Charlie hummed in satisfaction, âYouâre absolutely right,â He replied, pulling her in for a tight hug and pressing a kiss against her cheek, âWeâve done a lot here and I never properly thanked you for staying by my sideâ He muttered, his fingers playing with her hair as they embraced.Â
âAnd why wouldnât I, Mr. Weasley?â (Y/N) teased, âAfter all, we said âtil the end of the line our fourth year, remember?âÂ
All the adventures, family outings, dangerous vault discoveries, and, of course, all the travels that helped them grow as a couple. The two had spent years together, watching each other go through the awkward stages of adolescence and all the hardships that came along with it. From the moment they met, they had each otherâs back and although that fact did not need to be confirmed by a ceremony, they knew it was the next big step in their relationship.Â
âAnd soon weâll be saying, til death do us partâ Charlie added sweetly, pulling her scarf down and quickly stealing a kiss from her. (Y/N) smiled against Charlieâs kiss, placing her gloved hands on his cheeks, and pulling him in before pulling herself away from his grip, âBut we need to finish taking inventoryâ she joked, picking up her clipboard from the crate and tapping her quill against it.Â
âAlways so determined,â he replied, rolling his eyes as he attempted to pull her back into his grip and laughing as she ran down the snow, âLet's finish up so we can head homeâ Charlie smiled, catching up to her and pulling her along the Sanctuary.Â
Scotland. November 30th, 1994.Â
The warmth of their home quickly enveloped them as they stepped out of the fireplace, the green flames dying down at their feet. Although it was still rather chilly outside, it was nothing compared to the weather in Romania.Â
The two walked around the ground floor of their home, hanging up their coats and scarves in the entrance closet. Their usually tidy home had papers scattered over the countertop, along with different types of flowers, silverware, envelopes filled with wedding invitations, and other materials necessary for their preparations.Â
(Y/N) sighed at the mess they left behind. Planning a wedding proved to be more difficult than breaking curses at Hogwarts, and she always worried she would miss something essential while they prepared.Â
She rounded the kitchen counter, sorting the letters the owls had deposited at their house while they were away. Their wedding date was approaching fast, and the thought of their big day eased her worries but amplified them simultaneously.Â
(Y/N) tore open one of the letters, her eyes scanning over the neat cursive with a subtle smile on her face.Â
Dear Cursebreaker,Â
(Y/N) Selwyn, I wanted to reaffirm how honored I am to hold the position as stylist for this special occasion. Iâm sure youâll recall our previous correspondence where I told you not to stress about any of the fashion choices for your wedding. But knowing you, youâve spent hours tearing through magazines trying to find the perfect wedding dress and bridesmaidsâ dresses.
But I am a man of my word and I intend to provide one of my best friends an eye-catching gown with bridesmaidsâ dresses to match. I have enclosed the finalized â and colorized â sketches of your wedding gown and the dresses the girls will be wearing. Iâve included three options for your dress and two for the bridesmaidsâ dresses. Youâve never mentioned a maid of honor, but I designed a variant just in case you picked one without informing me.Â
Write to me as soon as possible so I can finalize the preparations. If all goes accordingly, your dress should be finalized before Christmas.Â
I hope youâre intending on wearing a tiara, I think it would tie everything together and I included them in the drawings so you could visualize it. In all honesty, I truly think this is my best work as your style-Wizard and I expect some well-deserved credit at your reception.Â
All jokes aside, take a look at the dresses and send me your response, along with the measurements of your selected maid of honor and bridesmaids. Also, tell Charlie to write back as soon as possible. I sent him his dress robes options ages ago and he hasnât sent a letter back, I should honestly charge him for it.Â
That was another joke, Iâm not taking any form of payment from either of you. Thatâs final so donât even try to debate me on that.Â
I canât believe you two are finally getting married. You donât know how long everyone has been thinking about this day, I canât wait to see everyone.Â
I hope you and Charlie are well.
Best Regards,Â
Your friend and best style wizard in all of Europe,Â
Andre Egwu
(Y/N) reached into the envelope and pulled out several pieces of parchment, each containing intricately painted dress designs in various shades of white, silver, and gold with a thin red sash tied around the waist. She smiled brightly at the letter and tucked the contents back in the envelope, setting it in the bin labeled âimportantâ to remind herself to take a better look at them tomorrow morning.Â
She turned back towards the kitchen countertop, gathering the letters from Gringotts, as well as notices from the Ministry of Magic, and sorting them into their respective piles. Charlie came out of the entrance closet where he stashed his dragon-hyde boots and the rest of his fireproof gear to the sound of the rustling of papers. Shaking his head, he turned into the kitchen with a faint smile.Â
Even after all their hard work in Romania, she still managed to find another task to keep herself occupied.Â
âI donât think so,â Charlie uttered, pulling (Y/N) away from the mess, and gently pushing her against the kitchen wall. Charlie admired her beauty once more, placing his calloused hand on her waist, âYouâve been working all day, Iâll be damned if I see you cleaning this lateâ He spoke, brushing a strand of hair away from her face.Â
âYou, my love,â hummed Charlie, running his thumb against the apples of her cheeks, âAre going to take a nice, warm bath while I make you dinner.â (Y/N) smiled up at Charlie lovingly, wrapping her arms around his waist and nuzzling her face in his broad chest, âWhat if I want you in the bath with me?â She asked playfully, her hands sliding down his waist and into the back pockets of his work trousers.Â
Charlie chuckled darkly, his hands sliding towards the back of her thighs and lifting her off the ground, wrapping her legs around his hips, âWho am I to deny the lady what she wants?â boasted Charlie, tightly gripping the back of her thighs, and leaning his lips close to hers.Â
âSuch a gentleman,â (Y/N) muttered breathily, her hands gliding through Charlieâs and her nose brushing against his. Her soft lips brushed delicately against his, close enough so he could inhale her breath and feel the warmth radiating off her skin. Charlieâs heart pounded harshly against his chest; the feeling of her lips so close yet so far sending a subtle shiver down his spine. Understanding why she paused, Charlie closed the gap between them, his lips perfectly molding against hers and she swore she felt time stop.Â
It did not matter how many times they shared a kiss, it still felt like that moment on the Quidditch Pitch. That moment when Charlie pushed through the crowds of cheering Gryffindors, the house cup forgotten in the hands of another team member, to pull her in for an electrifying kiss, one that set the course of their loving relationship. (Y/N) was so captivated by their kiss that she did not notice when Charlie expertly moved up the stairs and towards the master bathroom.Â
It wasnât until he set her down on the bathroom sink that she opened her eyes, laughing wholeheartedly as Charlie bent down to open the warm water, his endearing chuckle echoing through the bathroom.Â
âYouâre quite sneaky, arenât you?â questioned (Y/N) teasingly, hopping off the countertop and making her way towards Charlie, her cold hands sliding underneath his long-sleeve making him jump.Â
âAnd what does that make you?â He retorted flirtatiously and gripping her wrists, pulling her against his chest, his hand trailing down to the side of her neck.Â
âHm, a demiguise, maybe?â She asked innocently, her eyes shifting upwards in mock pondering and Charlie rolled his impatiently, tugging the hem of her jumper and slipping it off her body.Â
âOf course, how could I have missed that? The long hair honestly seals the deal. AlthoughâŠâ He trailed off, his eyes scanning her bare torso and sneaking a hand behind her, his fingers drumming towards the clasp of her bra, âIâve only ever seen your eyes light up like that when your squirming underneath meââÂ
Charlie scoffed, but pulled off his shirt by the neck, almost tripping over his trousers as he tugged them off with urgency, âAlright, alright! I surrender!â With that, he sunk behind (Y/N), pulling her against his chest and peppering kisses against her cheek.Â
The Burrow. December 5th, 1994.
âOh, my dear!â Cried Mrs. Weasley, tears threatening to spill from her eyes as (Y/N) turned in her wedding dress. Andre Egwu stood behind her, proudly gazing and his handiwork and twisting the red sash so the diamond snowflake brooch sat comfortably on the left.Â
âCome on,â Andre crooned, âtell me Iâm a geniusâ he prodded with a smirk, stepping back to stand beside Mrs. Weasley with his hands stuffed in his pockets.Â
(Y/N) rolled her eyes, but turned to admire herself in the mirror, âIâm going to have to admit it this time,â she acknowledged, looking back at the satin train of her A-line gown, the tails of her red bow falling shorter than it, âYou truly have outdone yourself, Andre. I really canât thank you enoughâÂ
Mrs. Weasley dabbed her eyes with her apron, sniffling as (Y/N) spoke, âYou look radiant, (Y/N)! Charlie is going to faint when he sees you,â she beamed and walked to her, pulling her in for a tight hug.Â
âBut I still think youâre missing something,â Andre chimed in, drumming his fingers against the old brown box sitting on the bedroom dresser, âLike we discussed, Mrs. Weasley?â He added and (Y/N) raised a questioning eyebrow as Mrs. Weasley scurried to the desk and opened the box, shielding its contents from the soon to be bride.Â
âIt was Auntie Tessieâs wedding tiara,â Mrs. Weasley spoke up, beaming as she faced (Y/N), the sparkling headpiece held delicately in her hands.Â
(Y/N)âs jaw almost hit the floor. Of course, she had expected Mrs. Weasley to pull out all the stops for their wedding, but she never thought sheâd be hiding such a luxurious piece.Â
âMrs. Weasleyâ You canât meanâ,â stuttered (Y/N), shaking her head vigorously and her eyes jumping from Andreâs grinning face to Mrs. Weasleyâs loving smile.Â
âI do, dear,â she reassured, beckoning for her to come closer, âAndre sent me the letter when you picked your wedding dress! Of course, he didnât know I would have the perfect piece to tie everything together, but Auntie Tessie left this behind when she passed and she especially fond of Charlie,â she began to explain, gazing down at the tiara and turning it to set it on (Y/N)âs head, âShe wanted his future wife to wear it down the aisle. If thatâs alright with you, of course.âÂ
(Y/N) turned to face the mirror once again, but this time focusing on the five sparkling rubies in the crystal tiara, âI donât know what to say,â she forced out, overwhelmed with emotion at the sight of herself in a wedding dress, âAnd, yes. I want to wear this tiara, are you having a laugh?!â She exclaimed excitedly, tears welling up in her eyes as she threw her arms around her future mother-in-law, âYouâve been nothing, but kind to me all these years. I donât know how I could ever repay you.âÂ
âMy dear,â sniffled Mrs. Weasley, âHow many times must I tell you? Charlie is the happiest Iâve ever seen him and that is all because of you, (Y/N)â she explained honestly, her hand rubbing up and down her back as they embraced, âAll these years, heâs only spoken about you. How you make him feel and how important you are to him.âÂ
âMrs. Weasleyââ
âI think itâs high time you started calling me Molly, dearâ interrupted Mrs. Weasley, pulling out of her embrace and holding (Y/N)âs shoulders tightly, âYouâre going to make a wonderful bride, my darlingâÂ
âI hate to interrupt,â Andre chimed in from behind them, the grin still evident on his face, âbut I think we should get (Y/N) out of that dress before Charlie ruins the surprise.âÂ
The women nodded in agreement and (Y/N) removed the tiara, handing it to Molly, who returned it to its velvety cushioned box.Â
âIâm going to go work on dinner, Iâll see the two of you down there in a bit,â She announced happily, exiting the room and descending the stairs to her kitchen.Â
âAndreââ (Y/N) started, holding her friend by the elbows, âI have to find some way to repay you. After all these yearsâ I mean, you made my first date outfit for Godricâs sake and youâve never let me pay you onceââ
âAnd I never will.â he retorted defiantly, âYour friendship is far more precious than some stupid galleons,â Explained Andre, placing his hand on her cheek, âYou helped me find my passion in fashion design, you and McNully taught me how to become the best Keeper Ravenclaw house had ever seen and,â he paused, shifting around so she could look at herself in the mirror, âeven though weâre not at school, you invite me to all your adventures and Ministry events. You and Charlie have given me so much and you donât even realize it.âÂ
Andre took a step back, holding (Y/N)âs hands in admiration, âYou deserve the very best on your wedding day, and so does Charlie. Iâm just glad Iâve been along for the ride, but if youâre so adamant of repaying me,â he grinned, a mischievous twinkle in his eyes, âSave me a dance the day of your wedding, thatâs all I ask for.âÂ
The waterworks came once again, (Y/N) let out a small sob as she threw her arms around her long-term friend, âOf course, Andre,â she agreed, her voice wavering while they embraced, âThank you so much for everything.âÂ
Andre smiled, his hand resting at the back of her head, âAnytime, Cursebreaker.â He muttered, âBut we should get you out of that dress, I need to fix Charlieâs dress robes before dinner.âÂ
(Y/N) nodded in agreement and stepped out of his grasp, watching Andre head towards the door, âMake sure he doesnât look better than me!â She joked as the door opened and Andre let out a hearty chuckle.Â
âWouldnât dream of it!â He shot her a wink and slipped out of the room, the door closing gently behind him and his voice booming down the stairs while he yelled for Charlie.Â
(Y/N) laughed when she heard Charlieâs startled yell and the door to his bedroom slamming open. Her hands slid down the soft satin of her dress, the rhinestone straps glinting as the sunset over the horizon and the ghost of a smile decorating her relaxed features.Â
âOnly a month away,â she thought joyfully and hung up the dress in its black garment bag before joining Molly in the kitchen.Â
Scotland. January 5th, 1995.Â
Wedding preparations were in full swing at the home of Charlie Weasley and (Y/N) Selwyn. The family of the bride and groom ran up and down the house, folding the seating arrangements and fixing any stray flower bouquets that remained in the kitchen.Â
âGeorge!â Bellowed Mrs. Weasley as he and Fred slid down the bannister, their ties around their heads and vests unbuttoned, âYou two better straighten up before the guests arrive!âÂ
âMolly dear,â Mr. Weasley spoke up from behind her, his hands running down her arms soothingly, âTheyâre just excited, Iâm sure theyâll settle down soonâÂ
Mrs. Weasley placed her hand over her husbandâs while the other soothed the velvet of her elegant green dress, âIâm sure youâre right, Arthur. I just want everything to be perfect for Charlie and (Y/N)âs special day.âÂ
âI know, Mollywobbles,â he muttered, pressing a kiss against his wifeâs forehead as she blushes furiously, her cheeks turning as red as her hair.
âCome now, Arthur,â she urged, but unable to fight the smile that formed on her face, âLet us go finish up the tentâÂ
Outside stood Charlie, running up and down the wedding tent, yelling orders to his younger brothers who had, apparently, never seen this side of Charlie before.Â
âNoâ! Percy!â He groaned, straightening the ribbon against the back of it, âOver and under, like this!â Charlie twisted the ribbon, leaving a delicate bow to decorate the pearl white chairs.Â
âI am perfectly capable of tying a ribbon, Charles.â declared Percy pompously, demonstrating his bow-tying skills on the next chair, but struggling a little more than Charlie had.Â
Charlie let out a small sigh, adjusting his tie and the lapels of his red and black dress robes, âI know,â he admitted solemnly, âI just want everything to be perfect, (Y/N)âs spent so long planning thisââÂ
âDonât worry,â Percy interjected, âWith William and I here, everything is bound to go smoothly.â He grinned, placing his hand on his older brotherâs shoulder, âWeâre the most responsible and weâll make sure everything goes smoothly, for you and (Y/N)âÂ
Charlie sighed, but this time out of relief, his arms wrapping tightly around Percy, âThank you for being here, Perce. I know it wasnât easy to get time off.âÂ
Percy let out a small scoff, âYou think I would miss my brotherâs wedding? Mr. Crouchâs cauldron bottoms can wait until after the ceremony, even though itâs rather painful to put off my work for this long.âÂ
Charlie fought back the urge to ruffle his brotherâs hair, âWhen did you get so grown up?â He asked playfully, âI still remember you killing spiders for Ronnie.âÂ
Percy rolled his eyes at his remark, but smiled nonetheless, âWe all grow up eventually, Charlie. Just look at today, I could not be prouder of you and I know Mum and Dad are too.â
Charlie thanked Percy with another hug, but their moment was interrupted by Bill, who was waving his wand towards the marital archway, making light silvery roses appear in between the bright red ones, âOi! Guests are arriving in twenty minutes, weâve got time for friendly chats later, but we really need to get everything together before they apparate!â
Percy nodded in agreement, striding down the silver carpet and clearing out a path through the snow, raising another set of tents from the entrance of their house towards the wedding tent. Charlie joined his brother near the archway, clapping him on the shoulder and waving his wand so the rest of the flowers appeared on top of the seat ribbons.Â
A gaggle of women hid inside the master bedroom on the second story of their home, a half-empty champagne bottle resting on the vanity with six empty glasses surrounding it. Six girls stood around the bedroom window, gazing down at the boys in the garden with wide grins, âThis dress is quite beautiful!â exclaimed Rowan Khanna, turning to examine herself in the mirror, âAndre truly has outdone himself!â Her dress was slightly different than the other girls. It was still made out of the same silver fabric as the other ones, but herâs contained an array of silver crystals covering the left side of the bodice while a ruched one-shoulder sleeve came up and around her right shoulderÂ
âI agree,â chimed in Penny Haywood, twirling around in her floor-length silver dress, âI canât believe the day is finally here!â she squealed. Her dress also contained a ruched one-shoulder strap but lacked the bodice crystals in favor of a criss-cross fabric belt around her dress, âTonks! Stop messing with it!âÂ
Nymphadora Tonks shifted in her seat as Penny attempted to soothe her bright pink hair, which she had grown out to shoulder length for the occasion, âIt looks too neat!â complained Tonks, ruffling her unnaturally straight hair, and curling the bottoms of it with her wand. Tonks and Tulip were wearing the second variation of Andreâs dress, it contained the same details as the others, the only difference being the two straps in contrast to the one-shoulder Penny and Merula wore.Â
âI think it looks quite nice,â muttered Merula Snyde, gazing at her straightened hair, âDonât you think this color brings out my eyes?â She asked absentmindedly, her hands running over the chiffon gown.
âOh, pleaseâ groaned Tulip Karasu with a grin, âThatâs what you said during the Celestial Ball!âÂ
Merula glared towards Tulip, âAnd was I wrong?â she asked, throwing one of the satin dressing gowns they wore while getting ready. The two girls broke out in a fit of laughter, launching the dressing robes at each other and dodging them swiftly and the other bridesmaids joining in until the sound of the bathroom door opening caught their attention.Â
âMerlinâs beard,â gasped Rowan at the sight of her best friend standing underneath the doorway, an angelic glow radiating off her, â(Y/N), you lookââ
âBreathtaking,â finished Merula, her lips curling into a devious smile, âWeasley is going to lose his mind when he sees you.âÂ
Penny nodded in agreement, rushing to (Y/N)âs side and taking her by the hand, âI promised you I wouldnât cry, but I honestly think I am going to break down during the ceremony.â admitted Penny, and the other girls joined her around the bride.Â
âYou guys,â (Y/N) smiled sheepishly, gazing around her friends, and pulling them all in for a messy group hug, âI canât believe this is actually happening,â she admitted, a sniffle resonating through the room as she pulled back, âAnd youâre all here, what more could I ask for?â
âHow âbout a sack of galleons from your boss at Gringotts?â joked Merula, slapping (Y/N)âs arms and laughing along with the rest of the girls. Rolling her eyes, (Y/N) returned Merulaâs slap with one of her own and stepped towards the vanity table to add the finishing touches to her hair.Â
âOh! Let me help you,â exclaimed Rowan, rushing behind (Y/N) and picking her wand up from the table, âIâve spent hours reading hair-spell books, I want to be the worldâs best Maid of Honor!â She ran her fingers delicately through the curls of (Y/N)âs hair, waving her wand and uttering an incantation so a thin stream of hairspray sprayed out of the tip. Unlike ordinary hairspray, this magical substance would ensure the curls stayed intact even if she stood in a hurricane zone.Â
(Y/N) smiled at Rowan through the mirror, fighting back the tears that were welling up in her eyes, âRowan, Iâm so glad youâre here, I still remember when we first met and the wonderful scarf I picked out for youâÂ
Rowan laughed as she sprayed another curl in place, âI still have that scarf, it was approved by Andre and everything so you should start calling yourself a style-wizard as well.â As the two best friends reminisced, Penny and Tonks were opening the brown-leather box, gaping at the tiara with admiration and carefully wiping it with polish to amplify its shine.Â
âSome guests are arriving,â Tulip announced, looking out the window with Merula, the two of them craning their necks to see the small group pass through the snow led by Percy and Molly Weasley who bore wide grins.Â
In the sitting room, the groom and his groomsmen gathered around the kitchen island, six glasses of firewhiskey resting on the countertop, âNo, I-I really shouldnâtâ Charlie pleaded, raising his hand out to block the shot glass his best-man, Andre, was forcing into his grasp.Â
âJust one!â urged Andre, wiggling the glass in front of him as Bill and Barnaby raised their own in celebration, â(Y/N)âs had her champagne! I saw the glass, I promise!â
âIâm even having one, Charlie!â added Ben Copper, raising his glass to meet Barnaby and Bill, earning a laugh from Jacob Selwyn as he rounded the corner of the island, his own shot glass in hand.
âCharlie, I know you and my baby-sis talked about it and in all honesty, mateâŠâ started Jacob, his eyes scanning Charlieâs tense behavior, âYou need to loosen up a little, I saw you yelling at chair ribbons before the guests arrived.âÂ
The groomsmen laughed, earning a small scoff of amusement from Charlie, âAlright, alright!â He boomed, snatching the glass from Andre, and raising it into the circle with the rest of his men, âBut Iâm making you all take three at the reception!âÂ
âThatâs fine by me!â cheered Barnaby Lee, âWe donât have drinks at work; theyâre all a bunch of prats reallyâ he jested, gazing at the firewhiskey bottle longingly, âIâll do however many you want!âÂ
âEnough talking! To Charlie and (Y/N)!â bellowed Bill Weasley, flashing a toothy smile while Jacob patted Charlieâs back encouragingly. Jacobâs relationship with (Y/N) had strengthened significantly as years passed and although he loved having a younger sister, a part of him always wanted a brother. And, after months of getting to know him, finally found one in Charlie.Â
The groom and his groomsmen down their shots, slamming the decorative glasses down on the countertop and filing out of the house, excitedly patting Charlie on the back as they urged him out the front door. Several minutes later, the girls, in their matching silver dresses, came down the stairs excitedly waving their red and white bouquets.Â
(Y/N) came down the stairs, her dress and veil trailing behind her as she gripped the banister, her other hand carrying her much larger bouquet which contained a set of additional black roses mixed in with the red and white ones to match with Charlieâs robes. With the guests settled in their seats, Jacob ran back into the house and past the curtains dividing the tent connected to the front door.Â
âLook at you...â He gaped, his eyes wide in admiration when he finally caught sight of his little sister in her wedding gown, the sparkling tiara sitting perfectly atop her head, âI wish Mum and Dad could see you.â added Jacob in a whisper, reaching for her hands and smiling softly as their eyes met.Â
âMe too,â added (Y/N) earnestly, âWeâll visit their grave before the honeymoon, itâs not much, but itâs the least we can do.â She proposed and Jacob nodded in agreement, squeezing his sisterâs hands while she spoke.Â
âIâll tell you this, though,â chuckled Jacob, sneakily glancing out the tent as the music started, âIâm surprised Charlie isnât sweating bullets, he looks more nervous than that time he asked for my permission.â The two siblings broke out in a fit of laughter, heading closer to the door as, unbeknownst to them, the wizard officiant began making his way down the decorated aisle, waving happily at the guests.Â
âItâs almost time,â muttered (Y/N), butterflies fluttering in her stomach as they stood behind the icicle wedding curtains, âOh my god, Iâm getting married.â She could feel the nerves overcoming her excitement, a small lump forming in her throat as she worried about the many things that could go wrong, one being tripping down the aisle.Â
âHey,â Jacob spoke out, turning her by the shoulders while Charlie and Andre strode confidently down the aisle, the soft violin accompanying them as the sound of cheering whistles followed after them. âYou, my dear sister, have dealt with cursed ice, magical ciphers, loony and manipulative professors, and â not to mention â  spent the last few months taking care of hordes of dragons. The most dangerous creatures, according to the Ministry registry,â He explained comfortingly, his hands running down the side of her arms, âI think you can walk down this aisle and meet the man you love, and more importantly, who loves you without anything to worry about.âÂ
(Y/N) bit her lip at her brotherâs words, throwing her arms around him and pulling him into a tight hug, âThank you, Jacob,â her voice wavering, âThank you so much.âÂ
Jacob rubbed her back comfortingly, looking over her shoulder to see the bridesmaids making their way towards the archway, âAnytime, baby sister. Anytime.âÂ
âButâ he added, pulling away from their hug and grabbing the first layer of her veil, pulling it over her face with a gentle smile, âI think Rowan is about to walk down and the only tears I want to see are Charlieâs.â Pressing a kiss against her cheek, Jacob turned his sister towards the curtain, bright smiles pulling at their lips.Â
Charlie stood nervously at the archway, conspicuously twiddling his fingers as the song changed and the icicle curtains were pulled open by an unseen force of magic. At the sound of the change, Charlie looked up and as soon as he met (Y/N)âs gentle expression, all his worries slipped away, and his mind blocked out everyone else at the venue.Â
He wanted to burn the image of (Y/N) in her stunning white dress into his memory. A sight he had been dreaming of since their one-year anniversary, one that surpassed the vision of her during their first date or the ones of her during the Celestial Ball. As she was led down the aisle by Jacob, Charlie made a mental note to thank Andre with the largest slice of cake or some-kind of present because this was, honestly, the perfect gown for (Y/N).Â
The dazzling white pleated crisscross sweetheart neck bodice fit perfectly, the red sash around her middle accentuating her waist most breathtakingly. The small snowflake brooch on the left side of her sash sparkled brilliantly, matching perfectly with the delicate rhinestone straps that fell delicately over her shoulders. His eyes trailed upwards, his grin faltering at the sight of Great Auntie Tessieâs tiara underneath (Y/N)âs veil and he finally took notice of the tears that spilled out of his eyes. He hastily wiped them away, stepping down towards the carpet to meet (Y/N) and Jacob a few meters from the archway. Charlie grasped Jacobâs hand tightly, giving it a stern shake before taking (Y/N)âs hand delicately into his own, leading her in front of the officiant.Â
Charlie held both of her hands, looking her over and sighing in amazement as he pulled the veil back, exposing her flushed face and the dazzling tiara, âYou lookââ He breathed out, unable to find an appropriate word to describe how incredibly gorgeous she looked.
âBreathtaking?â She finished with a mischievous gaze and placed a kiss against Charlieâs cheek who blushed furiously as they turned towards the officiant.Â
âLadies and gentlemen,â said the sing-song voice of the officiant who raised his arms in acknowledgment to the couple as a collective silence fell over the crowd, âWe are gathered here today to celebrate the union of two beautiful faithful souls.âÂ
The wedding guests watched avidly, some moving towards the edge of their seats with intricate handkerchiefs as the couple turned sideways, their hands intertwined.Â
âDo you Charles Septimus Weasley, take (Y/N) Selwyn to live together in marriage? to cherish in friendship and love today, tomorrow, and for as long as the two of you live, to trust and honor her? to love her faithfully, through the best and the worst, whatever may come, and if you should ever doubt, to remember your love for each other and the reason why you came together with her this day?âÂ
Charlie was nodding eagerly before the officiant had even finished his spiel, tears streaming down his face but an unwavering smile decorating his freckled face, âI do. More than anything in the world.âÂ
(Y/N) beamed back at him, squeezing his hands tightly and releasing them momentarily so Charlie could slip the wedding band onto her finger. The officiant turned towards (Y/N), the smile on his face widening as he opened his mouth to speak.Â
âDo you, (Y/N) Selwyn take Charles Septimus WeasleyâŠâ the words floated away from (Y/N)âs mind, she registered the officiant speaking but she could only focus on the man in front of her and how his hands felt in hers. The way his dress robes fit perfectly and how they brought out the color of his bright green eyes. She felt her hand moving on its own to grip the golden band and the words, âI doâ sliding past her lips and she recalled it being the easiest phrase she ever had to say in her life.Â
The two of them did not register the happy sobs of Mrs. Weasley in the front row or the audible sniffles of Barnaby, Penny, and Rowan beside them. They even blocked out the loud trumpeting noises at the back of the wedding venue that undoubtedly came from Hagrid with Professor McGonagall dabbing her eyes an aura of dignity by his side.
The two of them only returned to the present moment when the officiant uttered the words, âThen I declare you, bonded for life.â With that, a stream of glittering snowflakes came out from the tip of the officiantâs wand, spirling over (Y/N) and Charlieâs heads.Â
âCome here,â Charlie practically growled, twirling (Y/N), pulling her in by the waist, and pressing his lips against her. At that moment, it felt like all the planets had aligned to create a timeless- one passionate moment that defined the future of their relationship. Overwhelmed by happiness, Charlie turned his wife in his arms and dipped her in front of the whole crowd, the sound of thundering claps and booming cheers filling the tent while they kissed. (Y/N)âs leg was lifted beside him, stretched perfectly and peeking underneath her gorgeous gown as the heat rose in her cheeks, that familiar sensation of liquid lightning coursing through her body.Â
The newlyweds turned upright again, pressing their foreheads together as they laughed and returned to the tumultuous crowd surrounding them. Charlie and (Y/N) raised their intertwined hands and the excited guests rose from their seats, their chairs disappearing only to be replaced by the reception tables and an ample dance floor. Overlapping âcongratulationsâ came from the numerous guests, patting the couple in support as they made their way towards the dance floor with their wedding party.Â
âI love you, more than youâll ever know,â Charlie spoke out, spinning (Y/N) as they shared their first dance, the lights dimming around them as the crowd watched them.Â
âI love you so much, Charles,â replied (Y/N), placing her hand on his cheek and leaning in to steal another kiss, âAnd Iâll spend every day showing you just how much.â Charlie let out a gleeful laugh, spinning his wife around the dance floor and pulling her towards their table once they finished.Â
âMr. and Mrs. Weasley,â a soft voice caught their attention and they both turned to see Professor Dumbledore, McGonagall, and - to both their surprise - Professor Snape standing in front of them.Â
âProfessors!â (Y/N) exclaimed, âWeâre so glad you could make it! We thought with the tournament itâd be difficult to get away-âÂ
âNevermind that!â dismissed McGonagall, placing her hand on the brideâs shoulders, âIâm so proud of you and Charles,â she gushed, unlike her usually composed self, a small hint of moisture underneath her eyes, âProfessor Dumbledore insisted we attend.â
âYes,â added Snape in his usual tone, unlike McGonagall, he was devoid of any emotion, âEven I have to congratulate you on this joyous occasion,â he explained, his black eyes scanning over the crowd and back on his former pupil, âIt seems Selwyn- or must I say, Weasley, that you have grown into a capable young witch. One Slytherin house was very proud to have.âÂ
(Y/N), overcome with the emotion of the celebration, wrapped her arms around the Hogwarts Potionsâ Master who returned her embrace with a very stiff pat on the back, âCome now, Severus.â Dumbledore added gleefully, his eyes twinkling with excitement, âIâm sure Mrs. Weasley is just happy to see you.âÂ
Charlie let out a small snort, unable to contain his laughter as Snape recoiled and his wife returned to his side, âBut Minerva is right, we are all very proud of you and I am not one to miss a wonderful evening to celebrate love.âÂ
âPlease, help yourselves with food and drink!â urged Charlie, gesturing towards the tables and bar, âWeâll be resuming the dancing shortly, weâre so thrilled to have you here.â He finishing confidently, shaking Dumbledoreâs hand who returned his smile with one of his own.Â
âWill do,â He agreed with a nod of the head, âWeâll leave you two to it then!â With that, the three Professors trailed off to speak with Charlieâs parents who stood excitedly at the bar.Â
âDo you think I went a bit overboard?â asked (Y/N) cautiously once they left, a small giggle overcoming her as Charlie vigorously shook his head, âAre you mad? Itâs our wedding day, weâre allowed to go overboard.â He reassured, pressing a kiss against her forehead.
âWell, if thatâs the case⊠I could use a drink,â she whispered coquettishly but was interrupted by their wedding party clearing their throats behind them.Â
âWow, Weasley,â Merula pipped up, âI thought you were an excellent Legilimens, if you were, you couldâve heard us coming from a mile awayâ she teased with Rowan waving a shot glass as (Y/N) turned around.Â
âYouâre not allowed to tease today, Merula!â She exclaimed happily, taking the shot glass from her and pulling Charlie along so he could grab his from Andre, âIâm a married woman now! I get a free pass!âÂ
Merula rolled her eyes but gave in to her request, âAs long as you take this drink, I wonât say anything!â
âWho knew it only alcohol to get Merula to lay off?â Barnaby quipped, earning a small punch which hurt her from than him due to the considerable amount of muscle he gained throughout the years.Â
âIâm not going to wait any longer!â threatened Ben, raising his shot glass towards Charlie, âReady?â he announced and everyone raised their glasses in a circle, âTo life and happiness!âÂ
âTo life and happiness!â They bellowed in unison, downing the chocolate vodka liqueur and extending their glasses towards Bill, who had hidden the bottle behind his back.
âCharlie did say three!â He announced, replicating the sing-song voice of the old officiant, âSo everyone better have an excellent tolerance tonight because weâre celebrating until dawn!âÂ
Tonks threw an arm excitedly around Pennyâs shoulders, almost spilling the contents of their shot glasses but laughing as Bill continued to pour their drinks.Â
âYou better switch up the drinks then!â Tulip muttered while sniffing the glass, grimacing at the strong scent of alcohol that practically burned her nostrils, âIâm more of a firewhiskey girl.â
âIâm going to have to agree,â nodded Jacob, âNot about the girl part, but I do like to mix things up⊠I wonder if theyâll prepare my specialty drink at the bar,â he pondered, looking longingly at the bar with a mischievous smirk.Â
âOn three!â Andre yelled, catching everyoneâs attention and he gestured towards Rowan so she could join in on the count down.Â
âThree!â Andre and Rowan finished chanting, throwing their heads back and swallowing their drinks before bellowing out indistinct cheers.Â
âI know you guys said three-â whined Penny, shaking her hands in front of her glass but it was snatched away by (Y/N) so Bill could pour their final shot, âOh, come on! At least let me breathe!âÂ
âYouâll breathe when we eat and dance!â dismissed Tonks, forcing the glass back into Pennyâs hands who reluctantly raised it towards the happy couple, âYour turn!â
âReady?â Charlie asked (Y/N), a dark blush spreading across his cheeks as he felt the early onsets on the alcohol affecting his body, âLetâs do that arm thing we talked aboutâŠâ he whispered excitedly, pressing soft kisses against her cheek making her giggle.Â
âYouâre so in love, Mr. Weasley,â She muttered with a small shake of the head, âBut so am Iâ (Y/N) pressed a kiss against his nose and linked her arm around his, âOn three!â she exclaimed, forcing her glass as close to her lips as possible. On three, the wedding party downed their third shot of the evening, some of them shivering as the alcohol coursed down their esophagus.Â
âAlright, letâs dance!â yelled Ben and Barnaby, pulling the bridesmaids away towards the dance floor to join the rest of the excited guests.Â
âIf you donât mind,â interjected Andre, extending his hand towards (Y/N), âI do believe you owe me a dance?â he reminded her, and (Y/N) quickly slid her hand into his.Â
âYouâre quite right, most notable style-wizard of all Europe,â she replied, shooting Charlie an apologetic look but he only smiled, âDonât worry,â He reassured, âIâve got to see Mum and Dad.â
Andre pulled (Y/N) away towards the dance floor, the two of them spinning away towards the middle with wide grins. Charlie joined his family, who overwhelmed them with hugs and kisses, including his thirteen-year-old sister who had traveled with Ron, Harry, Hermione, and Hagrid to be there for the occasion. The rest of the guests danced and conversed excitedly, eating away at the delicious food the white-robed servers had brought to their tables.Â
Jacob Selwyn sat at one of the farthest tables, exchanging stories with his sisterâs old prefect, Felix Rosier who was accompanied by Angelica Cole, the former Gryffindor prefect. Sometime during the evening, Hagrid appeared in front of (Y/N) and Charlie Weasley in his mole-skin coat and tears streaming down his face, lifting them both up from the ground as he happily embraced the two of them.Â
âSo grown-upâ cried Hagrid, wiping his tears away when he set them down, âI remember when yeh were both this tallâ he gestured downwards, replicating their heights during the first-year and the couple nodded happily, red tinges on both their cheeks as the giggled at Hagridâs remarks.Â
The rest of the night went by smoothly, exchanging numerous conversations with witches and wizards they could hardly remember their names of due to the amount of alcohol in their system. (Y/N) was spun around the dancefloor but all of the Weasley siblings, even performing an impressive three-person tango with Fred and George, who seemed to have more to drink than the newlyweds themselves. Charlie was joined on the dance floor by his mother and father, his best man, and, at one point, Jacob who had raised him onto his shoulders at the climax of the song.Â
While they were dancing, Ronald Weasley explained his blunder with Hermione at the ball to (Y/N), who automatically dragged him away to the muggle-born witch to correct his mistake and giggled excitedly when she saw the two twirling in a small circle with Harry and Ginny at their side. Some of the guests began to politely excused themselves by midnight, waving the couple off after leaving the gifts at the respective table and heading out towards the garden to the designated disappartation point.Â
The celebration did not stop until the first hints of sunlight gleamed over the horizon. At that point, most of the younger guests had retreated inside the home to sleep on transfigured mattresses set up throughout the newlywedsâ home. Rowan and Bill had to forcibly escort (Y/N) and Charlie away from the dance floor since the two expressed their desire to stay until the sun shone above them but kept closing their eyes as they embraced.Â
âCome on, little brotherâ chuckled Bill, winking at Rowan as he pushed Charlie, who continued to hum the processional song, up the stairs. Rowan blushed furiously at Billâs actions but kept her eyes on (Y/N), who was spinning Great Aunt Tessieâs ruby tiara in her hands at the rhythm of Charlieâs humming, âIâll have to thank you for that,â whispered Rowan excitedly, gazing longingly up at Bill and successfully getting the couple into the bedroom.Â
Bill removed their shoes while they giggled on the bed, exchanging several kisses while Rowan secured the tiara in its leather box, âThink we should help them change?â asked Rowan, turning towards Bill, but quickly realizing the answer to her question.Â
âI think thatâll be a no,â declared Bill, running a hand through his hair and extending the other towards Rowan, âLetâs go before we see something we donât need to see. I think I saw an empty mattress in the room Andre is staying in.â Rowan nodded stiffly, sliding her hand into Billâs and quickly closing the door behind her, locking the door for good measure.Â
On the bed, Charlie shrugged off his overcoat and threw it to the side while (Y/N) pulled on his tie, undoing it and tossing it with the rest of his outfit. His lips mashed against hers, his tongue pushing past her teeth as she gripped his head firmly, locking him in their embrace as she fell back on the mattress and her dress pooled underneath her.Â
âMy dress,â she moaned against Charlieâs lips and he let out a small laugh, shrugging his dress shirt off and reaching behind for the zipper of her dress, âOf course, we canât desecrate such a delicate creation,â he mumbled against her lips and lifted her up so she could wiggle out of it. (Y/N) laughed as the cold air hit her body, winking at Charlie as his eyes widened at the sight of the bright-white lacy lingerie she had hidden under her dress.
âLike what you see?â she teased, attempting to wriggle away from his grip, but he caught her by the waist and pulled her onto her back, âDonât you dare, my darlingâ growled Charlie, pressing harsh kisses against her neck and pulling her stocking-clad thighs around his waist.Â
âI love you,â gasped (Y/N) as Charlie groped her breast, her fingernails digging into his broad back and her hips grinding upwards to meet his, âSo so much.â Charlie cupped her cheek, harshly pulling her up to exchange another kiss, not satisfied â no matter how mesmerizing they were â by the previous ones.Â
âMore,â groaned Charlie, his red-hair falling over his eyes as he pulled away to mutter against her lips, âI love you moreâ he breathed out, pressing kisses in between each word and pulling his wand out of his trousers, and uttering inaudible silencing charms towards the door.Â
The two of them grasped messily at each other, running their hands over each othersâ bodies and leaving marks that would surely be visible in the afternoon.
Yes, I do! I have a couple requests in the inbox for Talbott, but I hadnât gotten around to them because I wanted to get a better understanding of his character before I started writing them. Iâm currently on Year 5 of Hogwarts Mystery and I feel like I have a better grasp of his character so Iâm going to try giving him (and other characters) a shot!
Thank you so much for asking! Iâm recovering well and Iâm actually able to walk around now! Itâs been almost two months since the accident and I just finished up my semester at University so Iâve got time to devote to this blog :).
I wanted to have a story out today in celebration, but I found that itâs becoming really long. I think itâs the longest piece Iâve ever written, but for this particular story... I think you guys deserve it.
I canât promise anything, but Iâm going to try to have it out by tomorrow so look out for something exciting!!!

I thought you all might like an update regarding my blog and upcoming stories. Unfortunately, while driving yesterday, my car hydroplaned during the bad weather and I slammed into the barrier that split two lanes.
I am currently at the hospital in complete bed rest, waiting for my surgery that will take place on Monday. Iâd like to get some stories out while I am here since I am currently excused from my school work. I am not sure if Iâll be able too, but I am planning for it depending on how I feel after surgery.
However, I also have some happier news! The blog @fanfable has taken the first chapter of the Smugglers Series and posted it a reading of it! It is currently split into parts and she will be continued the series with the rest of the parts.
Iâd love for you all to take a listen to it because sheâs done such an incredible job and it made me incredibly happy to see her message saying she completed the first part.
I wouldâve never imagined someone taking my stories and turning them into episodes, the idea still baffles me to this day. I canât wait to listen to the next parts and it was truly something that lifted my spirits.
As always, the stories I put out are all motivated by your kind words and I canât wait to continue with this blog.

Iâm back after a long hiatus. Iâm going to try my best and complete this new series that Iâll be reading on the podcast. Despite all the con
Hi, do you have a masterlist for all your fics? I really liked some of them but itâs hard to find them all just through your page!!
If youâre on the website, you can hover over the Slytherin banner and it will drop the three navigation options. The master list is the third option on that list.
If youâre on mobile, you can type âmasterlistâ in the tags section and it should pop up for you. I couldnât figure out how to include it in the app bio, but I am trying to include it there once I understand how.
Let me know if you have any trouble finding it! You can also try âA Mysterious Masterlistâ and it should show up.
The age gap Sirius fic is amazing. Sirius is amazing, youâre amazing. Thanks!
Thank you so so much!!! All your kinds words are what keeps me writing, I love hearing your reactions to my pieces :).

Have a nice ready of your day/night!!!

Hello love!Your draco stories are amazing and i enjoyed them thoroughly.I was wondering if you are planning on posting another draci story.

Request: Hello! I want to request something with Sirius too!! But with an age gap and Hogwarts Mystery MC. Can you write something like that?
This literally took me forever to write and I just want to get it out there. I hope the ending is alright, I had quite a bit of trouble figuring out the last parts, but I think it all came together in the end.Â
Edit: I am not quite sure what happened, but for some reason Tumblr deleted my story? Itâs currently four in the morning and I just realized this so I have to fix it or else it is going to bother me all night. Anyways, it should be fine now! I hope you enjoy!
Note: I will write a part 2 for this story in the future! Iâve noticed the comments asking for more and Iâve already got some ideas.
Summary: Auror training was not going as planned. Now, (Y/N) (L/N) is staying at Number 12 Grimmauld Place with its only known resident, Sirius Black.Â
A small thumping sound resonated through the quiet halls of Number 12 Grimmauld Place. Along with the maniacal murmurs of the Kreacher the House Elf occasionally adding to the noise. The commencement of the Hogwarts school year meant that few guests came through the home, effectively darkening the mood of one of its permanent residents. Â
Sirius Black lay atop a surprisingly plush mattress, casually tossing a rubber ball against the ceiling of his childhood bedroom. As he effortlessly caught the small ball in his hands, Sirius wondered how Harry could be doing at school and how he could improve to become a suitable fatherly figure for his beloved godson. This initiative proved difficult considering the restrictions set up by Albus Dumbledore. Underneath his leadership, Sirius was to remain in Grimmauld Place until it was determined safe for him to venture beyond the house walls. However, as the days passed by, Siriusâs optimism of stepping outside slowly diminished and thought it would be best to stop thinking about this improbable idea. Â
But before Sirius could give up his hopes of happiness, she arrived. Â
Downstairs, the front door opened, and two women stepped into the spotless home. From the way the mirrors shone, it was apparent they spent a lot of time transforming it into suitable headquarters for the Order of the Phoenix. The first woman swiftly moved through the house, already familiar with its surroundings, âHe should be here somewhere,â she announced, her bright pink hair clashing horribly with the emerald green walls. Â
The second woman followed her cautiously, scanning her unfamiliar surroundings, and mentally noting the details that stood out to her. âYâknow,â she started, grimacing at the meticulously preserved heads of house-elves beside her when they ascended the stairs, âwhen I first became an Auror, I didnât quite expect to be babysitting a notorious murdererâ  Â
(Y/N) (L/N) had never been the type to feel unnerved. She had always taken pride in her ability to keep calm, especially in situations of immense danger. So, it was safe to say she was not enjoying the malaise developing within her. Â
Nymphadora Tonks rolled her eyes, a hint of notable annoyance as she reiterated her point for the third time that afternoon, âIt wasnât him, all right? It was Pettigrew who caused all that trouble, Sirius is completely innocent.â Â
A large part of (Y/N) wholeheartedly believed Tonks, but another, slightly gruffer voice kept ringing through her head,Â
        âConstant vigilance!âÂ
Reminded of Mad-Eye Moodyâs teachings, she thought it best to remain cautious, just in case.Â
âIâm sorry,â added (Y/N), knowing she had offended her friend. Tonks gave her a small nod, accepting her apology as she led her past the multiple bedrooms on the second story. Halting at a door with the name âSiriusâ intricately carved on a silver nameplate, Tonks raised her hand. âBlack, are you in there?â she asked, knocking on the bedroom door. Â
âYes, but, it seems Iâll have to find a better hiding place next time,â Sirius spoke up, casually confirming his presence within the room, âYou found me rather quicklyâ Â
Tonks opened the door, a smile on her face when her eyes landed on Sirius, âYou gave away your position by doing that,â she said, pointing at the ceiling as the ball bounced back into his hand. Â
Sirius clutched the ball tightly and sat up from his bed, âI suppose youâre right,â he said, the already faint smile on his face vanishing as he became aware of the stranger in his home, âWhatâs going on?â He asked, masking his rousing irritation. Â
Disregarding his obvious displeasure, (Y/N) subtly examined his appearance. This could not be the same person in the Azkaban wanted pamphlets. She had expected a worn-down, angry wizard with incredibly long, matted hair. But instead, she locked eyes with a devilishly handsome, well-kept, older gentleman wearing brown, pinstripe robes. (Y/N) mustered up a casual smile, pushing away her bewilderment but unable to hide the faint blush on her cheeks.Â
Tonks frowned at Siriusâs disappointment, âWell,â she began, placing her hands on (Y/N)âs shoulders, â(Y/N)âs just started her Auror training and Mad-Eyeâs instructed her here for the time being,â Tonks gently pulled (Y/N) into the room as she spoke, âIt wonât be for long,â she added, noting Siriusâs sour expression, âAnd at least youâll have human company.âÂ
Sirius eyed the (h/c) haired woman standing in his bedroom suspiciously. Indeed, he found it quite odd that Mad-Eye would send a trainee into isolation but decided against mentioning it. The idea of letting a stranger into his home without warning did not sit well with him, but he could not deny the presence of someone he could have a pleasant conversation with.Â
âAll right,â Sirius said, rising from his seat and walking over to the two women.Â
(Y/N) swallowed nervously, impulsively trying to calculate the height of the man making his way towards her. It was not until he stood in front of her with his hand extended that she came to the possible solution of six feet. With her heart thumping against her chest, (Y/N) stretched out her arm and grasped his expecting hand firmly. Â
â(Y/N) (L/N),â she stated formally, looking up at Sirius with a confident smile as they shook hands.Â
Sirius mentally applauded her firm grip, a smile appearing at his lips, âSirius Black, it is a pleasure to meet you.â He caught sight of the sparkle in her eyes, those bright eyes filled with stars reflective of her optimism and was instantly charmed. The two of them stood there, looking interestedly at each other, their attention devoted to something other than their handshake.
Tonksâs eyes bounced from Sirius to (Y/N), an odd feeling settling over her, but unaware as to what it could be, âWell,â she announced, now that the pair seemed to be getting along, âIâve better get going, Mad-Eyeâs waiting for me.â she declared, sensing this would be the best time to make her exit, and swiftly made her way out of the room.Â
Startled by her sudden declaration, (Y/N) turned to follow Tonks, who was already half-way down the stairs, âWait!â she called, rushing after her friend, âTonks, hold on!â
Hearing (Y/N)âs yells, Sirius stalked out of his bedroom and quickly followed after them, âDonât yell,â he hissed, but his warning was ignored. With another cry of her name, Tonks turned, her arms raised warningly towards the curtains which had flown open. The woman in the, now exposed, painting took a singular glance towards Nymphadora Tonks and let out an ear-splitting screech.Â
âFilth! In my sacred home!â screamed the portrait of Walburga Black, her eyes then narrowing towards her son, âShame of my flesh! Traitors!âÂ
Sirius, with a swift flick of his hand, closed the long, green curtains and silenced his mother, his previous look of displeasure returning to his face.Â
âIâm sorry,â apologized (Y/N), looking up at Sirius from the bottom of the stairs, a frown appearing on her face.Â
âItâs fine,â Sirius replied exasperatedly, â...just donât scream down the hallway, okay?â he added and retreated towards his room. (Y/N) solemnly watched Sirius leave, her eyes lingering on the curtains of the concealed portrait before turning towards her friend.Â
âWhat am I supposed to say to him?â asked (Y/N), gripping Tonksâs wrist before she could get away, âHe wasnât exactly pleased to have someone here.âÂ
Tonks shook her head, patting her friend on the shoulder, âHe's just going through some things right now, but heâll ease up.â she added reassuringly, âI havenât known him for exceptionally long, but he is part of my family so I know youâll be alright.âÂ
(Y/N) was aware of their familial connection, having been informed by Tonks before their arrival and she could not deny that this information settled some of her nerves, but not all. However, her trust in Nymphadora Tonks outweighed her suspicions. The two had experienced a lot during their time at Hogwarts and Tonksâs judgment usually supplied positive outcomes.Â
âI trust you,â (Y/N) said, releasing Tonksâs arm and hugging her, âGood luck with Mad-Eye, show them who's bossâÂ
Tonks laughed as she embraced her former classmate, âAs if I donât do that already,â she stated confidently, reaching for the silver door handle, âBut Iâve really got to go, Iâm already late.â
(Y/N) nodded and watched Tonks exit the home, taking the time to lock the door before looking back towards the empty stairs. What Tonks had said about Mad-Eye assigning her to Grimmauld Place was not entirely untrue, but she had purposely left out the details of Albus Dumbledoreâs involvement.Â
She was not sure why Dumbledore had sent her to keep an eye on Sirius Black, but she gratefully took the opportunity and packed her bags. But, as she assessed her current situation, (Y/N)âs mind fell on a particularly important thought:
âWhere am I going to sleep?âÂ
                          ---
The temperature began to drop during the late weeks of October, and a substantial amount of rainfall washed over the country. Three weeks had passed since (Y/N)âs initial arrival and she found that her time at Grimmauld Place was rather pleasant. Unlike Sirius, (Y/N) could venture out of the home and occasionally found herself at the nearby marketplace, buying ingredients for her meals, or reviewing her books at the cozy coffee shop down the street. However, she also spent a lot of her time, albeit alone, wandering around Grimmauld Place, and learning the history of the ancient Black Family.Â
Even though she was surrounded by reminders of the Black family, (Y/N) couldn't help noting the unmistakable absence of its last living descendant. The two of them had, surprisingly, enjoyed each otherâs company more than they had expected and usually saw each other during mealtimes. Sirius had also, to (Y/N)âs bewilderment, offered his help when he had caught her practicing her Transfiguration.
Despite receiving excellent marks in her examinations, (Y/N) constantly struggled with Human Transfiguration which put a damper on her âConcealment and Disguisesâ training results. On a particularly stormy night, (Y/N) decided to practice her spell-work in the kitchen, in front of the large mirror that hung in the room. She had successfully transfigured her hair into a shade of cotton candy blue but failed at altering the size of her nose.Â
Letting out a small gasp of horror and pain, (Y/N)âs hand flew to her face, her fingers grazing the small bump and unusual slant of her new nose. She only viewed her reflection for a split second, nervously covering up her face as her eyes landed on the comically large witchâs nose that had replaced her normal one.Â
Keeping a hand over her face, (Y/N) flipped through the pages of her book, searching desperately for a counterspell. However, as she ran through her book, the door to the kitchen swung open and someone lazily entered the room.Â
At first, Sirius did not seem to notice (Y/N). Like her, he was having a particularly tough time falling asleep but hoped a late-night snack would do the trick. However, he quickly became aware of her presence when the noise of her clumsily collapsing into a chair filled the room.
Raising his eyebrows, Sirius poured himself a glass of milk and acknowledged her jittery behavior. âCanât sleep?â he asked, wiping away the milk droplets collecting at the side of his mouth. Sirius took a second to admire her new hair color, grinning as he added, âI like the new look.â
(Y/N) blushed at the sudden compliment, but nodded her head, a little too enthusiastically, in response, âY-Yes! But I think Iâll head upstairs now!â she said, rising from her seat.
Although he did not mention it, Sirius knew (Y/N) was practicing her Transfiguration in the kitchen. The open book, specifically on a page regarding âHuman Transfiguration and itâs counterspells,â and her wand strewn across the black, tiled floor were enough to confirm his theory. He was also aware that her last spell mustâve malfunctioned and that she was now struggling to revert it. However, he wasnât sure how she would respond to his assistance and debated his next move.Â
(Y/N) had never requested his help before, but it was clear to him, due to her obvious distress, that he must do so. Sirius caught her before she could dash out of the room, his fingers delicately wrapping around the wrist of the hand that covered her face. Clearing his throat, he looked down at (Y/N), his grey eyes meeting hers, âLet me see.â
To her surprise, (Y/N) did not tense up at the feel of Siriusâs touch. Instead, she found herself relaxing underneath his unusually comforting gaze. This was only the second time she had stood this close to Sirius, the first being when she arrived, but her heart still beat the same way, thumping loudly against her ribcage. (Y/N) relaxed her arm, letting Sirius guide it away from her face to reveal the heavily crooked nose.Â
âItâs awful,â murmured (Y/N), turning her face away from his when his eyes widened in shock. She was already embarrassed and having a Senior Member of The Order of the Phoenix witnessing her mistake mortified her.Â
For the first time in weeks, unable to retain his composure, Sirius Black burst out laughing, clutching his stomach as he doubled over, âIâm sorry,â he forced out, wiping away the tears in his eyes as he smiled down at (Y/N)âs shocked expression, âBut that nose makes you look completely ridiculous.â
(Y/N) scoffed, crossing her arms over her chest when he laughed, âIâm perfectly aware of that!â She stated angrily, âI wasnât trying for a Witchâs nose! I was going for more of a Roman look like the book saidâ she said, gesturing towards her open book.Â
âDonât worry,â added Sirius, retrieving his wand from his pocket, and directing it towards her face, âWeâll try again.â Muttering a spell, Sirius flicked his wand and a flash of blue appeared from the tip. Within seconds, (Y/N) felt her abnormally large nose shrinking to its usual size, enthusiastically turning towards the mirror when the transformation finished.Â
âThank you!â she exclaimed happily, picking up her wand from the floor, âBut what do you mean weâll try?â she asked, recalling what he had said.Â
âIt means, Iâm going to teach youâ started Sirius, lifting up the book from the table, âBut we really wonât be needing this,â he added, slamming it shut and tossing it to the side with a large grin, âThat is if you want my help.â
(Y/N) considered his proposal, surely having an actual teacher would help her improve since he could give her feedback and he was an experienced wizard. Surely, there was no harm in letting him help.
Nodding eagerly, (Y/N) grinned up at Sirius, âWhere do we start?â
But some time had passed since their last encounter and her lessons with Sirius suddenly fell short. (Y/N) had not seen him for a week and was beginning to worry about his well-being. Sirius had stopped sharing his meals with her and refused to come out of his bedroom. During this time, (Y/N) had decided against intruding and hoped he would come around just as Tonks said. But as she sat alone in the kitchen, she began to wonder why Sirius would suddenly disappear.Â
Taking a glance at the enchanted calendar near the refrigerator, (Y/N) read the date October 29th scrawled at the top. Closing her copy of Moste Potente Potions, she paced around the kitchen, taking a moment to consider the situation.Â
âMaybe, I can make something to cheer him up,â She thought, scanning through the numerous recipe books, which had collected a substantial amount of dust through the years due to lack of use. (Y/N) picked out a tattered book on baking, running her hand over the hardcover to clean it off. She was not entirely sure what type of treats Sirius would enjoy but got to work with newfound determination.Â
âAfter all,â began (Y/N) to no one in particular, taking out a large tray, âProblem-solving is part of being an Aurorâ
---
Upstairs sat a man clutching an old portrait in his hands, a single tear sliding down the tip of his nose and onto the glass. Sirius lifted his hand and wiped away the tear-stained surface, the smiling face of James Potter throwing him a playful wink with his arm wrapped around Lily Evans.Â
As the anniversary of their death approached, Sirius Black recalled his final conversations with his best friend, urging him to choose Peter Pettigrew as their secret keeper instead of him. Sirius glared down at his former friend, Peter shyly waving towards the couple as the younger versions of himself and Remus Lupin approaching him bearing wide grins.Â
âDamn it!â exclaimed Sirius angrily, tossing the picture onto his bed and burying his face in his hands. These intrusive thoughts had plagued Sirius ever since that Halloween night at Godricâs Hollow. How he shouldâve realized Wormtailâs odd behavior during their meetings.Â
How it shouldâve been him that perished that night and not his best friends, who had just happily begun their domestic life with their baby boy.Â
Sirius wished for nothing more than to be able to turn back time and fix everything. But he couldnât. All he could do was-Â
âSirius?â A soft voice called from the other side of the door, a light knock following her voice. Taking a deep breath, Sirius wiped his face, rose from his bed, and stepped towards the door.Â
(Y/N) stared up at the silver nameplate, nervously tapping her foot as she debated calling his name once again. In her hands, she carried a freshly baked pumpkin pasty on a small silver platter.      Â
âJust act normal,â she thought as she waited for Siriusâs reply, âBe calm.â But despite her constant pep-talks, (Y/N)âs nerves skyrocketed once the door to Siriusâs bedroom swung open.Â
Right off the bat, she could tell something was wrong. The Sirius that stood before her had puffy, red eyes and bore the expression of someone who had spent a significant amount of time crying.
âYes?â He asked in a steady voice, one that completely betrayed his appearance.Â
âW-Well, I was just in the kitchen making some, uh, pumpkin pastiesâ She started, raising the silver platter, âAnd I thought since I haven't seen you in a while, that I would bring you oneâŠâ (Y/N) hadnât realized she was no longer looking up at Sirius or that she was tapping her finger nervously against the platter, âBecause I was worried⊠about youâ she finished, meeting Siriusâs surprised expression.
Worried? About him? Siriusâs eyes shifted from the delectable treat to (Y/N)âs bright, (e/c) eyes, surprised by her genuine act of kindness. He was not surrounded by thoughtfulness or generosity while he was in Azkaban so having (Y/N), a woman he barely just met, go out of her way for him was undeniably heartwarming. Slowly, he picked up the pasty, enjoying the warmth of the dough radiating into his palm, and took a bite. Â
The delightful combination of pumpkin puree and cinnamon instantly covering his tastebuds, the dough practically melting in his mouth. He finished his treat and cleaned off the remnants of the pumpkin filling on his fingers. Clearing his throat, Sirius reached out and pulled (Y/N) in for a tight hug, âThank you,â he uttered, his head resting on top of hers, âand⊠Iâm sorry for making you worryâ
(Y/N) gasped when Sirius pulled her in, the feeling of his arms around her waist making her blush instantly. Although she had speculated how Sirius would react, she certainly did not expect him to hug her, much less utter an apology. (Y/N) let her arms wrap around his larger frame, her free hand patting his back lightly, âYou donât have to apologize,â she replied, her head resting against his chest.Â
âBut I do,â Sirius cut in, âI promised Iâd help you and all Iâve done is hide....â He said, releasing his grip to look down at her, âAnd that wasnât right.âÂ
(Y/N)âs words suddenly failed her, the feeling of Sirius brushing a strand of hair behind her ear made her heart flutter. Sirius smiled down at her before releasing her, âNow, why donât we go have some more of those delicious pasties?â He joked, gesturing towards the stairs.Â
âI guess itâs my turn to apologize,â (Y/N) muttered sheepishly, âI kind of made a mess in the kitchenâŠâ but Sirius only laughed at her remarks, stretching his hand out towards her.Â
âKreacher will handle the cleanupâ he added, âBesides, youâve done all the baking so itâs natural for you to now.âÂ
âYou do make a great point, Black,â (Y/N) replied, a grin spreading across her face as she took Siriusâs hand and followed him down the stairs.
---
It was now early December, and the excitement of the Christmas holidays began to settle over the inhabitants of Grimmauld Place. In a few weeks, Harry Potter would be let out of Hogwarts and Sirius had spent most of his time preparing for his arrival.Â
When he wasnât cleaning, Sirius helped (Y/N) with her Transfiguration and often spent their time in the kitchen, searching for recipes they could use on Christmas Day. Today, however, the two of them decided to take a break to relax and enjoy themselves.Â
In the sitting room, Sirius laid across one of the couches, happily munching on some shortbread cookies they had previously made. (Y/N) sat at the piano, randomly plucking at keys, enjoying the faint sound of the fire crackling from within the fireplace.Â
âSo,â Sirius started, resuming their game of twenty questions, that had now gone past the initial twenty, âHogwarts House?â He asked, crossing his arms behind his head.Â
âOh, weâre back to basics, arenât we?â (Y/N) joked, earning another laugh from Sirius while she played one final glissando before swiveling on the bench, âI consider myself an observant person and Iâve noticed that you seem to be the only Gryffindor in a home of SlytherinsâÂ
Sirius raised a questioning eyebrow, âYour observations would be correct,â he replied, âBut, I donât remember asking what you think my house wasâ Sirius teased, reaching for another cookie.Â
âNow, you canât get upset,â (Y/N) started, playfully raising her hands defensively, âbut I was a part of Slytherin house.â
At her words, Sirius choked on his cookie, shot up into a seating position and began coughing up crumbs. Once he caught his breath, he shook his head, âYou?! A Slytherin?â He asked in bewilderment, wondering if she was just playing a practical joke on him.Â
But (Y/N) only nodded confidently, âand Iâm proud of it, thank you very much!â She stated, shooting him a wink from her seat at the piano. It was safe to say (Y/N) had grown quite comfortable around Sirius and had no trouble following through her flirtatious remarks.Â
âBlimey, you really had me fooled,â Sirius laughed, falling back onto the couch, âI never thought a Slytherin would worry as much as you doâ
(Y/N) scoffed impishly, placing her hand over her heart, âThat hurts, Black. I didnât take you for the stereotypical typeâ she quipped, rising from the bench to rest on the couch opposite of Sirius. âBesides,â she added, snatching up a cookie for herself and taking a bite, âIâve worn my old house scarf plenty of times, Iâm surprised you didnât notice it then.âÂ
Sirius gave a hearty laugh, raising his arms up defensively like she had done before, âSorry, dollâ he apologized, looking over at her with a smirk, âBut Iâve been too busy looking at that pretty face of yours to pay attention to some old scarf,â Sirius complimented smoothly, chuckling at the dark blush painting your cheeks.Â
âHave you always been this charming?â asked (Y/N) in a joking manner, turning on her side so her body was facing Siriusâs.Â
âThat counts as your next question,â Sirius hummed, tapping his index finger against his temple in acknowledgment, âIâd like to say so, Iâm quite flattered you find me charmingâ he admitted while nodding his head contentedly. He turned his head to look at her once again, eyes raking over her body in silent admiration.Â
Sirius felt odd. He wouldâve never imagined that he and (Y/N) would get along so well, much less spend days lounging around until the wee hours staring up at the newly enchanted ceiling getting to know each other. In an attempt to raise Siriusâs spirits, (Y/N) had bewitched the ceiling to resemble the starry nightâs sky. Just the two of laying over a blanket with Sirius expertly pointing out the various star clusters until she felt asleep at his side.Â
He never woke her when she fell asleep. Instead, he scooped her up from the ground and tucked her into her bed without complaints. Sirius didnât quite understand why, but there was something refreshing about the angelic look of peace on her face and the her soft smile never failed at brightening his mood.Â
âDo you miss them?â asked (Y/N), redirecting their conversation to the stars above them, âYour family, I meanâ
Sirius remained silent, his eyes shifting back towards the bewitched ceiling to find the Leo constellation. He stared up at the brightest star in that formation, the name Regulus scrawled around in tiny cursive letters.
âSome of them,â he replied gloomily, âSometimes I recall the lousy Pureblood parties I attended when I was younger and remember playing with my brother and cousins⊠before it all went to shit,â Sirius explained, his eyes trailing over the various constellations to find âAndromedaâ, âMy Mother, on the other hand, was a foul old hag. If I could, Iâd remove that portrait of her and burn it to ashes, but it seems she thought ahead and permanently stuck herself to the wall.â
(Y/N) hadnât expected such an honest reply from Sirius. In all honesty, she thought he would brush her remark to the side or make a joke about how thatâs her second question.Â
âI miss them too,â she added, feeling compelled to share a story of her own, âMy parents passed when I was incredibly young, and my older brother disappeared for quite a while. I thought- well, I hoped to find him alive, but when I did⊠he wasnât the same,â (Y/N) explained with a frown, âHe looked sick, raving about blood-status, how we were all in danger and then I saw it. On his left arm, the Dark Mark on my brotherâs arm and I froze, like an imbecile.âÂ
Sirius pulled his eyes away from the ceiling as she told her story, frowning slightly at the glossy eyes that never met his. (Y/N) sniffled slightly, running her index finger underneath her eye to collect the tears that threatened to spill, âHe raised his wand at me, he told me I had seen too much and that I couldnât leave, but I couldnât react,â She paused to take a deep breath, âBut Mad-Eye was there and he finished my brother off before he could hurt me.âÂ
Then she fell silent, sniffling softly before letting out a soft chuckle, âSome way to start off Auror training, right?â joked (Y/N), looking towards Sirius who met her tearful gaze with a solemn expression, âWow, SiriusâŠIâve never seen you look so concernedâÂ
Siriusâs eyes widened slightly and he cleared his throat, tearing his eyes away from hers in embarrassment, âIâm sorry about your brother,â he replied, choosing to ignore her comment, âI know what itâs like to lose one too.â He admitted, looking back at her with a sorrowful smile.
âSee, weâre not as different as we thought we were,â (Y/N) declared, sitting up on the couch, âThank you for telling me about your family,â She said to Sirius, her gaze locked with his, âAnd for helping me with my magic.âÂ
Sirius smiled softly, rose from his seat on the couch, and walked over to (Y/N), extending a hand out towards her, âNo, thank you,â he admitted, âYouâve brought me happiness in this hell hole, I never thought Iâd make happy memories here againâÂ
(Y/N) slipped her hand into his and stood up from her seat, âIâm glad I could help,â she breathed, lightly squeezing Siriusâs hand. The two of them stood, hand in hand, in silence, each contemplating their next move. With a small inhale, (Y/N) rose to her tiptoes, pressed her lips against Siriusâs cheek, and quickly slinked out of the room.Â
Sirius looked back, but he stood alone in the empty room, the tip of his finger trailing the spot where her lips had been.Â
âCharmingâ he uttered to himself, letting out a small chuckle before exiting the room with another shortbread cookie in hand.
 ---
Only a couple of people had taken note of Siriusâs interesting behavior. How he would stand up every time (Y/N) entered or exited a room, how he would slide her chair in while she sat, and how close the two of them would stand whenever they were cooking.Â
(Y/N) leaned up against the countertops, sipping her hot chocolate as Tonks rambled on about her latest expedition with Moody. She smiled at her friendâs stories, recalling the times in the Clocktower Courtyard where they could only speculate what their future wouldâve been like.Â
âAnd what about you?â Questioned Tonks, a knowing smile playing at her lips as she leaned in closer to her friend, âAnything interesting to report?âÂ
âYes, actually,â (Y/N) declared confidently, setting her mug down, âIâve gotten quite good at human transfiguration and Iâm certain I will pass the disguise portion of the exam now.âÂ
Tonks gave a nod of encouragement, but rolled her eyes in disappointment, âDo you ever think about anything else?â She asked teasingly, âDonât get me wrong, itâs brilliant that youâre focusing on your training, but what else have you done?âÂ
(Y/N) raised her eyebrows inquisitively, âWell-â she cleared her throat, âIâve gone to the bookstore a couple of times, baked, and Iâve had dinner with Siriusâ she started, her mind drifting to the many evenings they had shared together, âOh, you missed it. We enchanted the ceiling to look like the nightâs sky, it would keep moving so you could see all the star constellations, like a large map.â (Y/N) explained dreamily, her eyes twinkling with excitement as she continued, âWe would lay in the sitting room talking and then, the next morning I would wake up in my bed with no recollection of ever getting there.âÂ
There was a small pause, âI told him about my brother,â (Y/N) admitted quietly, her eyes trained towards the wooden floorboard, âand he told me about his family, your mum,â she added, looking back to meet Tonksâs gaze, âand his brother.âÂ
Tonks looked extremely surprised, she pursed her lips momentarily before awkwardly scratching the back of her neck, âI never expected him to tell you that,â she admitted dejectedly, but a smile quickly replaced her sad expression, âSirius is a good man, Remus tells me stories from when they were at school together,â she explained excitedly, âItâs a good thing we werenât walking the corridors togetherâ
The schoolmates laughed wholeheartedly, holding each otherâs hands as they finished their hot chocolate, âI reckon we wouldâve given them a run for their money if we did,â she added with a wink and the two friends embraced.Â
âMerry Christmas, Tonks,â (Y/N) muttered, tightening her arms around her friend and Tonks did so in response.Â
âMerry Christmas, and to many moreâ grinned Tonks, âMaybe weâll both be Aurors by the next oneâ she joked, nudging her on the side as people flooded into the kitchen.Â
(Y/N) smiled towards the people settling into their seats, her eyes scanning the room for Sirius, but he was nowhere in sight. The Weasley Twins crowded their mother, making jokes about carrying the pots to the table as she refused their help. Tonks moved towards Molly, taking the tray off her hands, and giving her a sympathetic smile as they set the table.Â
Taking advantage of the commotion, (Y/N) slipped out of the room to find Sirius. After having spent four months with him in Grimmauld Place, she had a strong inkling as to where Sirius could be.Â
âSirius?â She called, peeking her head curiously into the drawing room where, as she expected, Sirius stood. He was staring towards a burn mark on the wall, his fingers tracing over the charred remains before acknowledging her.Â
âItâs astonishing how much you worry,â chuckled Sirius, looking over his shoulder to shoot a wink at her. (Y/N) scoffed, but smiled as she sauntered into the room, âItâs Christmas, you know. The day youâve been dreaming about these past few weeks,â she spoke in a sing-song voice, slowly approaching Sirius with each word.Â
Sirius turned fully, spreading his arms out as he did so, âHow do you know what Iâve been dreaming about?â He asked, a devilish grin appearing on his face.Â
âHm, I believe I recall telling you Iâm an excellent legilimens,â She said in mock ponderment, but giving herself into his embrace, âWeâre waiting on you, you know?â She added, inhaling deeply to take in that sweet smell of smoky sugar she had grown so fond of.Â
âWe shouldnât keep them waiting then,â Sirius whispered, twirling the ends of her hair between his fingers. Merlin, but he could stay here forever just with her in his arms, a sweet smell of cinnamon filling his lungs as they embraced.Â
âYes, youâre right,â She agreed, stepping out of his grip, and heading towards the doorway. Sirius slinked after her, his eyes flickering up towards the door frame, âWait a minute,â he blurted out without thinking, making (Y/N) halt right underneath it. With a sheepish smile, he walked up towards her and reached down to grab her hand, pressing a kiss against the back of it and meeting her starry-eyed expression. His other hand was gripping his wand, discreetly flicking up towards the ceiling to re-enchant the drawing room ceiling.
âThe stars are wonderful, arenât they?â Sirius muttered, running his fingers against her palm until their hands were firmly pressed together. (Y/N)âs eyes instinctively shifted upwards, catching sight of the twinkling stars rotating throughout the ceiling.Â
Her eyes, however, caught sight of something else, something much smaller hanging from the ceiling. No- hanging from the doorway was a small plant with a cluster of white berries all around it. Her mouth fell open as she stared up at the plant, âMistletoeâŠâ she breathed out, meeting Siriusâs gaze with a dark blush painting her cheeks, âWas that your doing too?â She asked teasingly, nudging his shoulder with a small smile.Â
Sirius let out a noise of feigned pain, clicking his tongue as he smiled down at her, âThat hurts, Doll. You know I have more honor than that,â He mused, pulling her into another embrace, âBut,â he cleared his throat, hoping he did not misread their situation, âIf you donât want to, we can just pretend it never-âÂ
âAre you mad?â (Y/N) cut him off, placing her hands on either side of Siriusâs face, âStop talking, Sirius and just do it,â she urged, leaning her face closer to his, but refusing to close the gap between them.Â
Sirius didnât mind, he preferred to make the first move either way, âAs you wish,â he replied and rested his hand against her cheek, pulling her in for a gentle kiss. Her heart beat growing faster and faster as Siriusâs handsome face came up to her own. Their lips brushed together for a moment before completely dipping down and capturing her lips in a sweet kiss.Â
Their fingers locking together as her body pressed closer to his. Sirius placed his hand against her waist, keeping her close while their lips melted together and he could only focus on how soft her lips felt against her mouth, how addictively she invaded all his senses. (Y/N) could have sworn time had stopped when his lips met hers and she was only brought back to reality when he pulled away, his finger trailing delicately over the apple of her pink cheek.Â
âI think weâve kept them waiting long enough now,â Sirius announced, flicking his wand towards the ceiling to make the stars disappear, his hand still gripping hers gently, âDonât you agree?âÂ
âYes, youâre quite right,â She replied with a subtle nod of her head, âI suppose we should goâÂ
Sirius smiled, leaned down, and pressed a kiss against her forehead. Retrieving his hand from hers and gesturing towards the stairs, which she descended first. The two of them slipped into the fully decorated kitchen, both smiling at the group of people seated at the long table as they settled into empty seats.Â
âWhat took you so long?â asked Tonks, gently shoving (Y/N)âs shoulder when she sat down.Â
But (Y/N) only smiled at her question, her eyes flickering towards Sirius and meeting his mischievous gaze as he lifted his wine glass towards her and brought it to his lips. The smile on her face only grew and she quickly shot him a wink before looking back towards Tonks.Â
âOh, nothing,â She lied, happily poking at her dinner with her fork, âJust making sure Buckbeak was comfortableâ
Tonks squinted towards her, but decided her answer was good enough⊠for now. (Y/N), however, had no intention of revealing what happened upstairs and spent the rest of the evening with the lingering feeling of Siriusâs lips ghosting over hers.Â
As they all bid their goodnights, (Y/N) climbed up into her room and caught sight of Sirius closing his door. But before he did, he raised his hand up to his lips and blew a kiss in her direction, his signature smirk appearing at his lips. (Y/N) pretended to catch the floating kiss, playfully bringing it to her cheek and laughing when Sirius did.Â
âMerry Christmas, (Y/N).â
âMerry Christmas, Sirius.âÂ
And with that, the two of them closed their bedroom doors. Simultaneously, albeit unknowingly, flopping onto their mattresses with grins of satisfaction plastered over their faces. It didnât take long for them to fall asleep, but the two of them had the same thought as they wentâŠÂ
âWhat would it be like to fall asleep in each otherâs arms?â
I canât wait for the Sirius ficccc! đ. I have an idea but idk if you have many requests on the line. So basically my question is if youâre up to many writings right now and if itâs going to take too long for your list to be with 0 debts. I have no urgency for mine but I donât want to impose more job for you.
Okay, Iâm not going to like to you but Iâve probably got about 80 requests to get through right now. Iâm not complaining though, I love reading every idea you guys come up with and helping it come to life. BUT, I donât want you to forget your idea so youâre welcome to send it in! I canât promise Iâll get to it right away, but sometimes I get really inspired with new requests and get through them quickly. I want to have at least two older requests put out by this weekend, one of them being the Sirius Black one.
Iâm watching The Order of the Pheonix tonight with my roommates so Iâm hoping that gives me inspiration on how to finish it.
