* BROKEN & LONELY !

             immediate response is to nod slowly. god, she wants that more then anything.  fingers curl, into the soft cotton fabric of his shirt pulling him to her and rolling to her toes to press her lips to his. eyes fluttered closed she allows herself to press closer to him.  sharp inhale follows the moment her hips collide with his and she pulls back only enough to speak. “landon. lock the door.” taking a step backward she pulled her shirt up over her head grateful lizzie wouldn’t be home until morning.

He leaned down to close the space between them while feeling his own self brush against her hips. That simple brushing against what was waiting beneath his clothes causing a breath to fall out of his lips. He blinked when their lips didn’t connect when she pulled away telling him to lock the door. 

             she’s left standing with her back to her bedframe,  fingers resting at her stomach while she lifts her doe gaze back to his,  making her way across the room with her breathing labored.  she can see the tension all over his face and her teeth close round her lower lip.  fingertips combing through chocolate waves she makes her way closer until she’s directly in front of him, lifting a hand to splay it across his chest.  trying to feel his heartbeat.  “do you want to kiss me again?” she’d been stuck thinking about landon and his chapped lips and the warmth of his hands since it happened albeit through a drunken fog.  free hand grasps the corner of the pillow pulling it from his hands cautiously.

His heart was racing faster than his own thoughts staring at her through his thick lashes nervously shifting. He watched her his hues focusing heavily on her and only her -- to the feeling of her hand pressing against his chest which felt warm.. his gaze moved up towards her face again slowly nodding his head. He didn’t even realize she was grabbing the pillow until he felt his hand move with it. He didn’t avert his gaze from hers. 

            [ sms - landon ] : you’re not a creep. i didn’t mean to hit send but i’m not MAD you got them. just embarrassed in case you didn’t like it.

             exhausted with bending to the will of she-satan herself the brunette bit down on the inside of her cheek lacing her fingers together as she sat back on her bed, licking her lower lip to wet it with the most nervewracking of intentions. josette hasn’t been bold in a long while;  not with emotions.

            [ sms - landon ]:  maybe you should come to my room and tell me what you think in person.

He read the text while he leaned back against the headboard closing his eyes reaching up to rub at them not even realizing he was expecting another text. He jolted when he felt the vibration against his leg causing him to grab the phone to read over the text. His heart dropped but..again in a good way. He breathed out heavily before he got up shaking his head slowly putting the phone into his pocket. He grabbed the pillow and..casually just hugged it to his waist. If he got caught he was really gonna die. He was gonna drop dead right there. 

He began to walk quietly out of the room while venturing silently over towards the girl’s area of bedroom gulping silently, he was anxious but..did that stop the heat in his stomach? No. He kept that pillow held tightly over his lower waist. Once he reached Josie’s room he slowly opened the door and he quickly came in and shut the door behind him. He turned around STILL WITH THE PILLOW. He could only look at Josie with nervous eyes. “...You were beautiful...” he whispers out in a rushed tone .. slightly panicked. 

             [ sms - landon ] : …i mean, you don’t have to?              [ sms - landon ] : i wasn’t going to SEND them to anyone.

              even if she had taken the pictures with the intent of sending them to him specifically.  blush radiates down the length of her neck as she traced her small fingertips along the back of her phone in thought before adding a third message.

             [ sms - landon ]:  is the picture OK though? like, does it totally suck or….?

He paused over the delete button while he shifted clearing his throat looking up to the ceiling for a moment. Was he gonna admit that this really bothered him in all the good ways? No. 

[ sms - josie ] : you’re..beautiful, josie.. you really are.

[ sms - josie ] : i just don’t wanna be a creep that’s all..but..uh. okay..

              [ sms - landon ] : OH MY GOD.               [ sms - landon ] : i didn’t mean to send that. 

              she’d thought about it, yeah.  sending the picture she’d taken in the room by herself once she’d gotten lizzie to exit but she’d attempted to delete it.  perhaps she’d hit send instead. either way her face flushes scarlet and she buries it in her palms to keep her embarrassment quelled.  she’s never,  ever exiting her bedroom again.

He let out another breath trying to not let his DUMB teenage body take over while he tried to calmly text her back, he shifted curling his toes while his thumbs hovered over the letters.

[ sms - josie ] : it’s fine, i can delete them.. it’s okay. 

[ sms - josie ] : ..who were they for anyway? 

When his phone buzzed he was sitting in his room reading comic books all up until he sat up to grab his phone. Course he saw the name Josie pop up and he focused more on the text than the comic at the time. What he saw sent him into slight shock.

He slowly stared at the photo before he looked up with widened eyes clearing his throat glancing down again. He soon slowly texted back.

Making a slight face at her while he slowly picked up his water he was drinking. He set down the cup after a moment mumbling. “Yeah..you are..” he grinned at her while he sat up shaking his head grabbing the orange jello that he rather enjoyed from the hospital. “You kinda..are acting a LITTLE jealous.” he shrugged then grabbed the plastic utensil to scoop up some of the jello to shove it into his mouth so he’d stop making comments.
