You are met with a morning like any other when your eyes open halfway, as suggested by the tint of cheeky yellow across your walls from where it slips past the thin curtains draped over your window, and the familiar numbers displayed with a dull red through the screen of your alarm clock, and the heaviness weighing your limbs down comfortably into the mattress on your side of the bed.

Turning your head with leisure, you are faced with the back Jihoon’s own and the mess of untamed hair adorning it. He is splayed safely across his predetermined space, like always, not even so much as a toe crossing the invisible line separating you down the middle of your mattress. The product of “I don’t mix cuddling with sleeping”, something you never understood.
