as a fellow desi i felt that answer so much :( stanning svt was great, but carats and the lack of an apology really ruined them for me. i still like the boys but i feel like the incident really took something important away from it, i just can't enjoy them like before. even calling myself a carat makes me uncomfortable because of how they've treated us.

Thank you for your unwhitewash series! It’s so important to see how big of an issue whitewashing is and how it sets really high standards for beauty for both men and women! I wish we lived in a world where the colour of skin would just be accepted for the way that it is!
