"Ah," Makoto mimicked, moving towards the storage they used for their things. He set Haruās things down and moved to gather his own. "My bad, it came out faster than I wanted it to." A slight shrug rolled off his shoulders as he ran his towel over his own hair. Warm was nice, at least. "Thatās new, I think." No, he knew. "Iām guessing you must be eating something really good when you get home then, huh?" This he had no idea about but he could venture a guess, really.
Drying off his hair took no time at all, and he found himself dressed quicker than usual as well. Still, there was a slight nag he was feeling.
Haruka's hands had reached out to grasp for his belongings, grasping his water bottle and towel. He tilted his head up and squeezed a fair amount of water into his mouth before swallowing it quickly and finally setting it down on the furniture's top. He glanced over to Makoto and nodded his head in quiet gratitude before mimicking his actions and ruffling at the blue-black tresses with his own towel.Ā
The comment was enough to pull his eyes up again, however. Eat? Well, he was hungry. His captain had struck that nail on the head, and now his mind had honed in directly on what type of dish he'd prepare for dinner. "There's fresh mackerel at home." That most definitely something to look forward to.Ā
Stepping out of his jumper and and into his clothes was a quick enough process in itself, and as he grabbed the swimsuit to wring the excess water off, he turned to face his childhood friend. "Would you like to come over for dinner?" His inquiry was quiet, quaint. Nothing pushy, but the offer was there.
