I like the idea that the Deities of Godmode have a Scissor, Paper, Rock thing going on with their powers and abilities. For example, Fyre's fire can burn pretty much everyone, but Gods who consist of water have a better natural defense against it, and those who control water can create shields that extinguish the fire on impact. But that's the obvious part.

We also have Gods with intangible domains such as Change, Corruption and Regret. I could imagine that for example these three Gods - Haitch, Szakoi and Nandi - are effective against Fyre as well. Haitch and Szakoi could use their powers to change/corrupt the traits of her fire, rendering it ineffective against themselves, Nandi could paralyse Fyre herself with the overwhelming feeling of regret, as Fyre is susceptible and vulnerable to intense emotions.

So while Fyre is probably very powerful against Gods like Silas or Blu, the three Gods mentioned above are very effective against her in turn. At the same time, all three of them are weaker towards certain other Gods. Nandi would probably easily be bested by Blythe, who thrives on negative emotions, essentially being able to feed off Nandi and her domain. Stuff like that.

So I think the same of Myriad. Her powers are pretty extremely OP, with the ability to shatter and assemble pretty much anything apart from three things: Full-on Deities, the metal created by Whim and the Crystalite Krystal can make.

The latter two even influence her powers negatively/render her unable to use them to certain degrees. When Whim shackles her, she can still shatter things away from her, but neither herself nor the chains. If she was to be put in a cage made of Crystalite, she would be unable to shatter anything within it, even if Krystal essentially just created an orb of it around whatever planet Myriad was currently sitting on. So these two things are pretty much her kryptonite, so to say. X3

I like the idea that it's more complicated with Deities. She's not a real Goddess herself at the moment - her divinity mostly comes from one particular shard inside of her, even though it resonates with others based on her former demigoddess status. As opposed to most other deities in the pantheon, she has no religion, no people who believe in or even know of her. I think she even took away her human mother's memories of her, to make parting easier.

So that she can't shatter Gods is more based on Power than anything else. If a God puts up no resistance to her shattering them, she can - that's how she heals Whim's memory, and why she could do so with Fyre in my ficlet. Fyre was beginning to give up, her resistance slipping.

So if a deity puts up resistance, it starts depending on how powerful that deity is compared to her. Gods like Amber or Sky, who have huuuuge numbers of followers behind them, would probably easily ward off her efforts without having to try much. Gods with smaller followings though, like Uzu? Myriad would have an actual fighting chance against them, even though her powers could still be fought off as long as Uzu focuses a lot on her resistance to them.

However, I think that it's different with objects and powers of other Gods. Shields, weapons, what have you - they might be more sturdy against her the more they are imbued with the powers of the respective God, and the more said God focuses on them staying intact, but they are weaker than actual sentient deities, even if they have some semblance to sentience themselves.

So while Amber and Sky themselves would be pretty invincible to Myriad, I could imagine Myriad being able to crack Amber's axe or tear souls out of Sky's happi. Not on the first attempt, and not shattering the whole thing at once, but chipping away at them might be possible.

Buuut going with the Scissor, Paper, Rock motif, there are certain Gods Myriad is extremely vulnerable to, sometimes only, sometimes especially when they catch her off-guard. There's little she could do against Haitch's or Bram's powers, for example, who'd affect her very nature directly. (Maybe she'll grow resistant to Haitch at some point, but for that she'd have to ascend to a fullblown Goddess first.) The same is true if Szakoi would decide to oppose her by directly corrupting her. Not so much with the corruption he spreads passively, I think, she could just shatter that before it reaches her. Nandi and Blythe both have domains that tap into Myriad's weakest spots at least in her grimdark version. And I actually think Aelia, Whisper or Blink could literally onehit-k.o. her by retrieving the divine shard from inside of her. Aelia could do so because it's a small thing (and technically a lost thing belonging to Krystal, not Myriad), Blink could escape it and Whisper is a deity of theft and able to come close to her undetected, so duh.

I think it was Mirff who compared the principle to Pokémon, which I find extremely fitting. Myriad is one of these PKMN types that seem pretty invincible on first glance, and maybe her type has some of the more versatile moves. But in the end, all of that power can easily be negated by types that are effective against her.

Also, about shattering Gods!

Myriad cannot shatter them, as long as they are more powerful than her. But she realises this - and she also knows where many of the God's powers come from: Mortal followers. That's knowledge she could and probably would utilise in a conflict, since mortals are defenseless against her powers. She could just destroy them, or steal their faith or memories about the gods and erase the traces of their religions in the mortal realms. For the Gods who thrive directly on their respective domains, she could steal whatever feeds them - joy and laughter for Mirff, voices for Durelivoks, greed for Amber. She could try to lessen their power by doing that, and then attack them directly when they are weakened - and she has gained more power by absorbing all those shards and pieces - shifting the power balance in her favor.
