First of all, Luna has obviously been rejected by vampires for being an 'evil being', as per the legend. That and the blame of the curse-bearers being, supposedly, their doing.

Vanitas' mother died giving birth to him- not only is it traumatic for Vanitas, but children who "kill their mother during birth" have been considered evil before (he himself considers that he murdered her). That, and the legend among vampires of the baby sucking the life out of the mother while it's in the womb. For humans, that in itself is evil, as are vampires. And currently, he is helping vampires.

Finally, Mikhail was born in a pleasure house. Not only was he born "in sin", but he himself lived in sin for most of his life there (unbeknownst to him and against his consent, of course). Prostitutes were considered temptations from the Devil himself, and it's not unheard of for adults to blame the children for the way they were abused.

Therefore, all in their own ways, the Blue Moon Clan are extensions of the Devil, sent to earth against their own kind.

It's a great contrast compared to characters like Noé or Astolfo, who have been through a lot too, but wouldn't quite be considered devils despite their own sins.

Some rambling about what those could mean...

I also think it's interesting it chronologicallly went : vampire (Dominique), dham (Dante), human (Ogier). Dhampirs are perfectly in the middle between vampires and humans.

They are also all looking towards us, the readers (or towards someone walking towards the door).

Ogier

Since it's supposed to be the door (≈ boundary) 'separating human from demon' (Dante's text), I wonder if it's a reference to the fact that Ogier is helping spreading Miel (which is supposed to turn a 'human' into a 'vampire', which to most humans, are nothing more than demons). Thus, his door is open and moreover, he's inviting anyone to go through with a big smile.

Behind Ogier's door is a mirror......which makes it reflect into an infinite number of doors. 'There is no beginning and no end.' It's either referring directly to Ogier (backstory, personal goal, etc), or to the general situation- there is no beginning to the hate dhams receive, and there will be no end. Even if the main characters succeed in their current goal and save dhams, hate will continue spreading like poison.

Dante

On the other hand, Dante is not looking at the door, not considering entering (for now or forever). Quite the opposite ; he's almost....guarding his door. He wants to stop this from happening. He wants to save the dhams, his family.

Dominique

She's knocking on the door, which means she's asking permission to enter. She seems nervous, almost shy. Maybe it's because she wants to understand dhams (and humans) better, as she herself admits she might not have been as fair as she thought she was to them. She wants to break the boundary that keeps them apart. Petals are floating around her, something new blossoming- or maybe dying petal by petal. I am not quite sure.

Am I the only one who thinks that Vanitas is trying to embody Luna in some way here ?

Even the reveal is....majestic. Just like Luna's was to Vanitas and Mikhail.

I wonder if it has some correlation (as it often does, since Luna's influence on him is explicitly and implicitly shown through the manga) or if it's just a detail, like his mannerisms and appearance in general, which sometimes echoes Luna's (although not always).

I also wonder what link it has to the dham's affair. I'm looking forward to the next chapter as always !!
