It is better to build bridges than walls.

You have to find the right distance between people. Too close, and they overwhelm you, too far and they abandon you.

You are most powerful when you are most silent. People never expect silence. They expect words, motion, defense, offense, back and forth. They expect to leap into the fray. They are ready, fists up, words hanging leaping from their mouths. Silence? No.

The only two important things in life are real love and being at peace with yourself.

Highly sensitive (introverted) people process their environments - both physical and emotional - unusually deeply. They tend to notice subtleties that others miss - another person’s shift in mood, or a lightbulb burning a touch too brightly.
