my new pista

After some searching and schooling, here is my build plan. The aim is budget but good quality. Some parts I have spare and the rest sourced online. In no particular order of course:

Bar tape - Pro-Lite Riscone (silver carbon)

BB -Stronglight JIS (107mm)

Chain - Miche Pista (1/8)

Chainring - Stronglight 7075 (black, 48t, 49t)

Chainset - Stronglight 2000 (165mm, silver)

Fork - Nelson Pista Carbon Track (carbon)

Frame - Nelson Pista 51cm (kinesium, classic track geo, tricolore)

Handlebars - Deda RHM01 (40cm, black) 

Headset - Ritchey Zero Logic Pro (semi-integrated, black)

Saddle - Selle San Marco Aspide (titanium rails, black)

Seat clamp - M-Part (black)

Seat post - Giant Aero Carbon (27.2mm)

Sprocket - Miche Pista (14t, 15t, 16t)

Stem - FSA OS150 (90mm, white/black) 

Tyres - Vittora Open Tri evo (22mm)

A 'Nelson pista'

The very last one in stock, luckily in a 51cm. I'm only little. :)

The frame is constructed from Kinesium tubing. Supposedly 10% lighter and stronger than 7005 alloy. Designed by Nelson cycles. They have stopped making frames, and now focus solely on parts & accessories.

Not wanting to jump straight in, I hired a track bike for the first few sessions. Now, having confirmed my love of the track, I have planned a budget track build to get me started.
