Send asks about the muse, headcanons, SW in general, myself, my dog, writing, your dog, whatever. Like, reblog anything but RP threads, comment. No, I’m not kidding, I like things to be liked and reblogged from me and not necessarily the source! However, I don’t care for being used as a meme source; if it’s not applicable to the muses or whatever, it’s cool, but I primarily reblog HC etc. asks that anyone can send in and should every couple of meme reblogs please.

Expectations

"It’s a hobby tho” does not fly here. The words “responsibility” and “expectation” are not negative ones, and if you feel otherwise, you should go. I fully expect you to be able to communicate your own expectations and wishes, as well as to plot and to reply. Real life this, real life that; we’ve all got work, school, families, pets, and other interests and responsibilities, if you cannot time/interest manage like an adult, I’m not interested. Extenuating circumstances of mental and physical illness, emergencies, unexpected life problems, are one thing, the general behavior of tumblr’s RPC surrounding entirely normal dedication to others and a hobby is a whole other one. Literally, any hobby requires you to be invested in it. Those that include others require you to be responsible for what you’ve agreed to/taken on. If it wouldn’t be acceptable to do constantly on a sports team, tabletop RPing, fucking book club, it isn’t here either.

It’s rude and incredibly immature, and I’m not sorry for being intolerant of it. If you cannot take on another thread, don’t! If you are overwhelmed as it is, don’t add another thread, partner, or muse. I don’t constitute “slow” or “low activity” as “I reply only to what I’m hyperfixated on in the moment, then won’t again for another three to six months, at minimum, if ever.”

If you’ve repeatedly adhered to the approach of getting overwhelmed then deleting or remaking because you think a fresh start is going to prevent the problem next time, not only are you wrong, I’m not interacting with you. I don’t have an issue picking up a thread where we left off, even if it was years ago, but I have a huge issue if you keep doing this, or if you keep doing it and insisting on new plots and threads every time. I was invested in the first one, thanks.

Friday the 13th of October

That isn’t my house.

I'm still extremely busy, and though I'd love to be able to talk to everyone right away, it's kind of a lot while I'm never not working and trying to work on writing as well. So, I promise, I'm trying to get to everyone and am not ignoring anyone in a purposeful or malicious sort of way.

I just really, really, need to write. I'd obviously be deceased if I hadn't been writing anything or otherwise working on things creatively, but I pretty desperately need to write replies and such. Y'all know how I am.

And y'all also know that I reply to whatever is hitting me at the moment, so, I'm sorry if it isn't something from you yet, but it's the way I've got to do things. Probably going to hop around between inbox, dash meme things, and replies. Clearly, I'm also pulling things from my immense draft collection to put in the queue, but replies will not be placed there.

If there's anything any of you do not want me to reply to, you should tell me, please!

Looks like everyone is still doing their thing, and since I only write with the folks I've been friends with a while, I know none of you have the rule of dropping things after a particular time. Still, I totally get that it's been A Fucking While, you might not be into something anymore, might want to re-plot something before proceeding with replies, or otherwise need or want something different done. Just let me know, since I'm going to proceed like it's all good if not.

Since I've been gone...

I see that tumblr has gotten worse, to the surprise of no one. None of this has impeded anything so far, but if any of these wonderful changes have necessitated changes to the way things are optimally done, do feel free to let me know.

Exactly nothing has changed as regards my writing style, length, etc., or my accepted canon. Neither have my vehement opinions on the latter, or my willingness to pop into fandom bullshit as I see fit. I'm trying to keep tags the same, but my tag list was saved on the previous laptop, which is both super dead and nowhere near me currently. {Since all my graphics were also on it and some threads and such, I will be bothering to charge the fucker and pull things off it when I have a minute to do so.} "fandom shit" is pretty basic and easy to remember, so remember to use it if you don't want to see any of that.

Should be obvious, but still not taking new writing partners or interacting with disney positive, jedi apologist wastes of air.

You might notice a lack of my most frequent Munday and Shit from Last Week subjects, Vitaly my Pom son and Chuck the cat. Most of those close to me already know, but they're no longer with me. Chuck unexpectedly passed away from a suspected genetic defect in April. Vitaly passed a few weeks before his fifteenth birthday in June, as many were aware, his age was finally catching up to him, he'd developed additional health complications, and while it would never, ever, be enough time, it was time to end that fight.

My good buddies Vesta, Chad, Kittanee, Katniss, and the geckos are all still around, thankfully, and have been joined by two more cats. One has made appearances here before and became mine a good seven years after she should've last October, Toes the tuxedo cat. The other, long story short, was part of rescue efforts and had to just stay with me because 1) she wasn't as pretty as her sisters and brothers and cousins 2) she's fiv positive. That'd be Sixlette, "Six," "The Grooming Cat," "Shixrette," "Evil Nermal," "Cheshire," and you'll likely be seeing more of her because she loves dogs and hangs out while I'm working. She's also just rather cute, does hilarious shit, and brings me pretty singular joy anymore.
