Mark He’s had a couple small dating scandals but I was ready to drop him when there was a rumor about him being in one of the jungjooyoung chats but that got shut down quickly because the girl who said the thing that implicated him immediately said it wasnt him and that hes actually a great person

Jackson I think there was a blackface incident where he was painted blue and put in a dark set and people were upset when he didnt speak out in support of hong kong but other people were like “hes probably not allowed to if he wants to promote anything in china”

Jinyoung He kissed a minor as an adult which he even said felt gross and wrong but it was for a drama that had originally casted an actress that was of age (or told him they were gonna and then didnt) i think there were probably ways to fake the kiss but the directors kept insisting 

Youngjae There was a bullying scandal which was proven to be false really quickly because youngjae didnt attend the school the accuser said he bullied them at but i thought that this was such a trivial scandal when i first heard of it but apparently “bullying” in korea is synonymous with physical and sexual assault like other scandals that came out after were so bad

Bambam The time he said the nword was the biggest scandal got7 ever had jyp took his phone away and he couldnt post an apology so his mom posted about it and he made comments about how he looked into the history/meaning of the word because he didnt understand the seriousness at the time. also he got shit for cultural appropriation when he follows dance trends that were started by african americans (the whip and dabbing specifically).
