Lipstick Luxuries.....

I’ve gone through ALOT! I’ve cried , feared , conquered , loved , succeeded, failed , fated , gotten hurt , helped people , done the unimaginable , and overcome things . I share my story in order to help people. I don’t want anyone to see me as perfect and I never strive to brag or boast . I find joy in thinking I may be a distance friend/ resource to someone who has lost hope or needs motivation. I’m not simple enough to believe I’m here to shine all over the place , I know God has me here for a purpose and I know it’s to serve others which is all I care to do.

So sis, my strongest prayer is that what I’m sharing can somehow be a resource for wherever you are in life .

If I’m being transparent I have to tell you that I’m guilty . I’ve prayed , lived right , tried to be good to people , followed the word , found myself , surrendered to God , and prayed some more & when blessings have come I’m like “WAIT, really? Is this for real?” . I do it often and I have to be reminded often that God blesses good people. It usually doesn’t come when I pray and sometimes I don’t see the lesson in my experiences , but he’s always on time.

Some days I make the mistake of thinking I’m imagining things or it’s only temporary , but how can you be a believer and then be shocked by the power of the lord ? He’s a magician , a doctor , a teacher , a lawyer , an employer , Lover , breaker of chains , peace keeper , Life maker , HES ALL THAT ! It’s not hardly impossible for him to make things happen.

Here I stand in a very good place with everything going right and I have the nerve to be thinking “when’s the ball going to drop”???? Now how ridiculous is that ? I mean , come on...... maybe it’s just my season and God wants me to live in this space or maybe this is my gift for being a believer and doing right by God. After all, I prayed for this.

My point is , we can’t say we trust God and we believe in his power but then question him when he makes great things happen in our lives. He can and he will change things for us . All we have to do is be good to him and follow his word.
