namjoon really is incredible this playlist has been in the making for a while and maybe i’m reading too much into this but i’m just so impressed the title of the playlist is mono and even the color scheme is in monochrome and namjoon has mentioned before that he struggles to find the balance between kim namjoon and rm but maybe this playlist explains that he has found that balance and accepted that these two are one (mono) and maybe it represents a monologue where he goes through this realization through himself and tells us through his point of view and he has mentioned before that whenever they release new music he gets so nervous that he doesn’t go online to see what people are saying and just imagine now when it’s his music this is literally his heart and soul in this mixtape and he is showing us his true feelings and that takes a lot of strength but that also shows how much he trusts us with his music and i read somewhere that he titled this as a playlist rather than a mixtape because playlists are shared amongst friends and he has told us on multiple occasions how he cherishes us as his friends and i’m just so touched and so incredibly proud of him and how much he’s grown and the wait for this playlist was definitely worth it
