Kuala Lumpur, July 1 – South Korean star Kim Myung Soo (also known as L) delivered an unforgettable evening for his Malaysian fans at the 2026 KIM MYUNGSOO (L) FAN-CON ASIA TOUR <UNCHANGED> in Kuala Lumpur.

Held at the Mega Star Arena, the event brought fans together for a memorable evening of live performances, engaging games, and meaningful fan interactions.

A Nostalgic Musical Journey

He opened the show with classic INFINITE group songs, Way You Are and 1/3, which drew massive cheers from the crowd. The musical journey continued with beautiful renditions of his dolo tracks, including One More Time, I Want to Tell You, Blue Summer, and My Universe.

The absolute highlight of the vocal performances, however, was a massive surprise for the fans: the exclusive live premiere of his brand-new, unreleased solo song, Stay Close.

Fan Interactions & Hilarious Moments

During the event, Kim Myung Soo made a special effort to bond with his Malaysian supporters by learning Bahasa Melayu on the spot. Guided by the emcee, he successfully charmed the audience by declaring "I sayang you" (I love you) and "I sayang gila you" (I love you crazy), filling the venue with happy cheers.

The fan-con also featured highly interactive and entertaining segments, including the [BLOOD TRUTH GAME - O/X QUIZ] and an A/B QUIZ. During the O/X Quiz, Kim Myung Soo excited the crowd by revealing that he had been taking plenty of photos around Malaysia, playfully teasing fans to look forward to their release.

The interactive segments reached a comedic peak during the A/B Quiz. The prompt asked: If given the choice at the Petronas Twin Towers, would Myungsoo choose A. Walk all the way up and take the elevator down, or B. Take the elevator up and walk all the way down? When the vast majority of the audience selected option B, an eager Myungsoo quickly had to correct them, hilariously reminding the fans that they were supposed to predict his behavior, not choose what they would personally do! The entire venue erupted in laughter. Showing his athletic side, he noted that climbing stairs is a great workout and encouraged his fans to exercise more in their daily lives.

Partnering with well-known brand Fossil, the event featured a special giveaway of premium watches. YG Entertainment unveiled the poster for ‘2026-27 BABYMONSTER WORLDTOUR [춤 (CHOOM)] IN ASIA & OCEANIA’ via its official SNS channels on May 11. Celebrating 15 years as a premier force in the K-pop industry, the group delivered a high-octane performance to a capacity crowd of passionate Malaysian Pandas. The concert, marking their first return to Malaysian shores in eight years, showcased the group's enduring vocal prowess and stage presence.

The evening kicked off with a wave of nostalgia as Chorong, Bomi, Eunji, Namjoo, and Hayoung performed their iconic "pure-concept" hits. The arena transformed into a sea of pink during renditions of "NoNoNo," "BUBIBU," and "MY MY," proving these tracks remain definitive anthems of the K-pop genre.

KUALA LUMPUR, April 11, 2026 — Lee Taeyong delivered an exciting and emotional performance at Idea Live Arena on Saturday night, marking the final stop of his solo tour, 2026 TAEYONG CONCERT <TY TRACK – REMASTERED>. The concert was extra special for fans as Taeyong returned to Malaysia after nine years. Known as the leader of NCT, he impressed the crowd with strong stage presence and a mix of powerful and emotional songs.

The show opened with high-energy performances of unreleased tracks “Locked and Loaded” and “Skiii,” followed by “Virtual Insanity,” where fans sang along and waved their lightsticks. The energy stayed high with popular songs like “APE” and “Shalala.”

Taeyong later slowed things down with softer songs such as “Mermaid,” “What Is Love,” “Move Mood Mode,” and “H.E.R.” Many fans were seen swaying and enjoying the emotional moments during “Ruby,” “404 Loading,” and “404 File Not Found.”

The K-pop group iKON, famous for their hit song Love Scenario which became a global phenomenon, is officially set to return to Malaysia this August as part of their highly anticipated iKON Fourever Tour 2026.

Korean boy group known for their distinctive blend of hip-hop, pop, and emotionally driven music. The group was formed through survival programs Mix & Match where trainees competed for a chance to debut. They officially debuted in 2015 and quickly rose to prominence with their energetic performances and relatable lyrics.

The group gained massive popularity with their hit song “Love Scenario,” which became a cultural phenomenon across Asia. Known for their strong stage presence and active involvement in songwriting and production, iKON has proven itself as one of K-pop’s most recognizable and influential acts.

Malaysian iKONICs can look forward to the group’s upcoming concert on 22 August 2026 (Saturday) at the Idea Live Arena in Kuala Lumpur.

The iKON FOUREVER tour is giving fresh and new vibes to the group performance as this tour will feature only four out of six members. The four members are Jay, Song, Bobby, and Chan, as Ju-ne and DK are currently fulfilling their mandatory military service.

Even with a scaled down lineup, expectations are still firmly in place. The group is likely to adapt their setlist to better fit for four-member performance that led into tighter vocal arrangements. Fans can also look forward to updated choreography and a stage presence that feels new and more dynamic.

After three years of waiting, on 1st April 2026 iKON announced their iKON Fourever Tour. For the first round, the tour is set to be held in 12 cities across 4 continents worldwide, kicking off in Seoul for two days concert on 16-17 May 2026, before heading to international stops, including Malaysia.

This upcoming concert marks iKON return to Malaysia as a group after their previous concert at Axiata Arena for their “TAKE OFF world tour on 22nd July 2023”.

KANGMIN of VERIVERY has released his first solo single album, Free Falling. This marks his solo debut, and he is the first member of VERIVERY to do so.

Free Falling is about KANGMIN’s present self as he moves forward, navigating the ambiguities of the inbetween time of boyhood and adulthood. “Free Falling” refers to the act and literal imagery of the phrase, being unable to fully orient oneself mid-air, trying to find a place to step, or hold onto, while still plummeting forward.

After appearing on Mnet’s hit survival program, BOYS II PLANET, his participation brought about new questions and feelings, and Free Falling acts as a journal of that time.

Through this album, KANGMIN has chosen to candidly record his imperfect self as he explores his feelings of excitement and uneasiness about this new journey, rather than trying to present a perfect or confident self-image. “I filled this album with stories that I wanted to share honestly with you all, so I hope you could think of who KANGMIN is while listening to this album.” – KANGMIN KANGMIN participated in Free Falling’s overall production.

It includes three new tracks, starting with the intro track, “Intro : small, fragile and still here.” It has a soft, lo-fi sound and candid lyrics co-written by KANGMIN and DONGHEON, the leader of VERIVERY, that capture the complicated emotions of a boy’s desire to shine and be loved.

DONGHEON also contributed to the track's composition. “Our youngest member KANGMIN worked very hard on this album to convey his own music and story, so please give it a lot of love and support!” – DONGHEON, leader of VERIVERY “Free Falling” is the title track of the album, and it’s a contemporary R&B-pop track, in which KANGMIN also participated in the writing of its lyrics.

The song depicts a couple in a turbulent relationship, oscillating between love and pain in an ongoing cycle of pushing and pulling. The music video for “Free Falling” builds tension through shifts in point of view, using a series of scenes that leave a lingering feeling rather than precisely explaining their meaning, naturally immersing viewers and allowing them to follow the flow of emotions.

The single album closes out with “in the mirror”, a mid-tempo pop track that compares the need to ignore and push back one’s own thoughts and feelings, but also realizing it’s time to face oneself in the mirror and take a step towards acceptance. KANGMIN uses this track to confess his inner conflict through its words and his vocals, as he navigates between wanting to stay as he is and the discomfort of embracing himself.
