My woman
Ponies
Kirishima himself had storylines with Rappa and Gigantomachia, I actually expected the girls from the class to get similar focuses too but it never happened. Ochako being the only girl who received focus is kinda disappointing tbh, although her dynamic with Toga was the most engaging one out of all the villain dynamics.
Speaking of Gigantomachia, there was easily an opportunity to give Mina a real character arc through that plotline. Alas, she is the Izuku to Kirishima's Bakugou in that plotline, so her pov wasn't going to get any meaningful panel time. Most of her thematic relevance is tied into how Kirishima feels inadequate about his heroism compared to her.
I agree that Ochako's dynamic with Toga had the most satisfying climax of the hero-villain conflicts. I'm assuming you mean Ochako was the only girl from 1A to receive any meaningful focus, and you would be right. To be fair, Jirou's arc is intertwined nicely with the overall themes in BNHA, but she barely has any screentime. Momo has a decent amount of panel time but no overarching coherent character arc to weave into the overall narrative.
And here he is: Kirishima's villainous foil. Kirishima's character foils (Rappa and Bakugou) are easy to spot. They're usually the embodiment of toxic masculinity in some way to contrast with Kirishima's healthier version of manliness.

Chapter 138 - Go!!
Rappa's mask breaks apart when he begins to do what he wants without considering Overhaul. The masks from Overhaul always cover the mouths of his followers, and the mouth of Rappa's mask was completely split after Fatgum's attack and Kirishima Unbreakable.
The mask coming off symbolizes Rappa ignoring his set role as a villain/Overhaul's underling and choosing what path he wanted to follow as an individual.
What a guy. To Rappa, a loss only occurs at death. And here he is just cheerfully discussing dying five times by being taken apart by Overhaul. This is also Rappa excitedly declaring that his ultimate plan was to murder his current boss since a win to Rappa means the death of his opponent.
I witnessed a tweet, I received a vision.

AYYYY Everyone's here!
The mothers of the students in class 1A who introduced themselves to us
Mrs. Aoyama (Name unknown)
Quirk unknown
Occupation unknown
In flashbacks, she is shown as a very loving and cheerful mother. She loves her son so much that she made a deal with All for One to give him a Quirk, and once it was discovered that they were the traitors, she and her husband tried to ensure that Yuga escaped any repercussions.
Bell Asui
Quirk: Frog (same as her daughter)
Occupation unknown
We don't know much about her, but we can assume she's a loving mother who supports her daughter's dream of becoming a hero; she was seen tearfully supporting her during the final battle.
Mrs. Iida (Name unknown)
Quirk: Engines (in her legs, like Tenya)
Pro Hero
She was very worried about Tensei's condition and tried to calm Tenya (without much success). We can see her as a loving and brave mother, as Tenya admires her along with the rest of his family.
Mrs. Uraraka (Name unknown)
Quirk unknown
Works alongside her husband in construction.
She unconditionally supports her daughter's dream of becoming a hero, celebrating her effort in the tournament despite her loss. She has always been attentive and loving, ensuring that Ochako doesn't have the burden of bringing money home.
After the war, the family was able to move forward, rebuilding after the damage.
Mrs. Koda (Name unknown)
Quirk: Animal Voice (just like her son)
Occupation unknown
She is very loving towards her son, tearfully congratulating him when he entered UA. When Koji was a child, his mother told him that he should never be ashamed of who he is and that he should follow his father's advice: "a man who gets angry when people he cares about are hurt."
Mika Jiro
Quirk: Earphone Jack (It is unknown if she has the same abilities as her daughter)
Music Composer
Mika appears quite calm, trying to stop the "fightć her husband was starting. She supports Kyoka's dream of becoming a hero, saying that heroes and musicians make people smile; while she may seem shy, she is also quite lively, as shown when she cheered for All Might, feeling proud that he is her daughter's teacher.
Rei Todoroki
Quirk: Freeze. She is able to project ice, create small blizzards, cover her entire body in ice, and cool surfaces she touches. She can also withstand extremely low temperatures; however, prolonged use of her Quirk will freeze Rei's body to harmful levels.
Rei was a housewife until she was institutionalized due to her mental instability.
From the beginning, Rei was always a reserved and not very expressive woman, but she had moments where she was genuinely happy, such as seeing her favorite flower. She knew that Enji's intentions were only to have a strong successor, and yet she decided to marry him for the financial support he would provide her family.
She loves her children more than anything and tries to soothe Toya's obsession with his father's approval, though her attempts are in vain. She protected and comforted Shoto from Enji's abuse, but over time, Rei's happiness diminished because of her abusive husband, to the point where she feels repulsed by her own children because they remind her of him.
Things came to a head when, in a fit of rage, she burned Shoto with boiling water. Although she healed him instantly, this signaled that she could no longer care for her children, and she was taken to a psychiatric hospital. As time passed, Rei recovered her sanity and was able to reconcile with her children.
Although not an experienced warrior, she proved brave when she intervened in the battle between Enji and Toya, preventing their bodies from being destroyed. In the end, despite all the harm she had caused him, she stayed by Enji's side, believing he shouldn't have to face loneliness.
Mrs. Hagakure (Name unknown)
Quirk: Invisibility (or possibly light reflection)
Occupation unknown
Her personality and relationship with Toru are unknown, as she has never mentioned her. The only time we saw her was in a family photo the girls asked Toru for to get an idea of what she looked like based on her parents' appearance, only to discover that they are also invisible.
Mitsuki Bakugo
Quirk: Glycerin. Her body produces this viscous, moisturizing liquid that gives Mitsuki healthy skin and makes her look younger than she is; this liquid is also flammable at temperatures up to 290°C.
Designer
Mitsuki is portrayed as a strong-willed and dominant woman, always speaking her mind without fear. While she shares her son's temperament, she is calmer and less rude, only yelling at her son for being disrespectful and at her husband when she tries to calm them down.
Mitsuki knows her son's potential, but she knows his unpleasant attitude must change and trusts U.A. to help him achieve it. She watched his battle against All for One with tears in her eyes, saying they have to do it for her son and have faith that he will win. And in the end, she left Katsuki alone to make amends with Izuku.
She's very direct, being the first to make a move in her relationship with Masaru, and despite their different personalities, they love each other more than anything. She also formed a friendship with Inko (although some believe that should have been different).
Inko Midoriya
Quirk: Attraction of Small Objects.
Its name says it all; the maximum number of objects it can attract, its range, and whether it could evolve into something more powerful are unknown.
Inko is a housewife and essentially raised Izuku on her own.
She shares several similarities with her son, including her enthusiasm for superheroes and her emotional nature, which leads her to cry uncontrollably. She always supported Izuku's dream of becoming a hero: playing with him, designing his costume, coming up with names, and watching All Might's missions. She blames herself for Izuku's lack of a Quirk, comforting him through her tears.
When she discovered that Izuku had "awakened" his Quirk, she was overjoyed and apologized for having doubted him. She continued to support her son's dream and celebrate his performance at U.A., yet she always remained suspicious of his power, seeing how his Quirk was destroying his own body.
Inko prioritizes her son's safety above all else. She had the courage to confront All Might, telling him that UA wasn't a safe place for him, and allowed Izuku to continue after being motivated by him and All Might. Inko knows how important her son is to her and supports him even if it means putting him in constant danger; she wants to see Izuku's dream come true.
In the final battle, she, along with the other characters, cheers Izuku on, shouting "You can do it!" When the villains are defeated, she returns to her apartment and resumes her life with her son. Despite everything she's been through, Inko has remained strong, unafraid to show her feelings in difficult situations.
bakugou WILL make sure everyone (in 1A) has basic cooking skills.
