every single human right is violated for undocumented immigrants. due process? nope. right to a lawyer? no. right to education? no. right to private property? not in all cases. right to health care? absolutely not. right to live with your family? nope. right to public assembly? no. right to work? no. right to participate in the democratic process? no. no rights, no freedom, only demonization, racism, and taxation. but as much as people don’t see immigrants as human enough to have human rights, it’s still a better option than living in a home country ravaged by extreme scarcity, poverty, gang violence, domestic violence, persecution, and dictatorship.
