Thine Eyes
Is it just me being paranoid or is there really something that's bothering you? Are my assumptions wrong? Or are you just trying your best to conceal what you truly feel? "What is that sad look in your eyes?" "Baby won't you tell me why there is sadness in your eyes?" The lyrics of these two songs are the perfect words to describe what I see in your eyes. You can't just go walk and smile and tell everybody you are fine when you know to yourself that you are not. Well maybe not everybody could see it, but there are a few who do. A person who deeply knows you would eventually know as to when are you being true or are you just trying to play around. As the saying goes, the eyes are the windows to the soul - that no matter how much you draw that little curve on your face, your eyes will always speak of the truth. You can laugh your heart out during silly convos but the sadness in your eyes will remain. No amount of fake smile and laughter could conceal what you feel inside. Remember that not all wounds could be healed by just simply putting adhesive bandages, sometimes you have to clean and expose the wounds and let them heal naturally. 😉 And only by then your eyes would flash that "glow". The glow which gives us a glimpse of the true and real happiness within you.
