My Dog Spot

In January of this year my husband Frank was diagnosed with Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis; an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system which interrupts the flow of information in the brain, and between the brain and body. MS affects more than 2.3 million people worldwide. There is no specific cause and currently there is no cure for MS. The diagnosis was overwhelming but Frank said it was "the best bad news he's ever received". Now he had an explanation and support for the constant struggles he had been living with for so long.

The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are moving us closer to a world free of MS.

For this reason I am proud to be a part of the "Walk MS 2015" at the Pasadena Rose Bowl, Sunday April 19, 2015. My Dog Spot has formed a team and will be walking on Sunday because we want to support a great cause, a personal cause, advocate for change, and help people with MS live their best lives.
