When I fell out of the One Piece fandom, it happened so fast.
Usually my interests gradually die out with time, but for this one, one day I was just..done
I wasn't that caught up with the manga/anime when it happened, gifs of the post-time skip surfed up and with every degenerate scene I came across in social media I got more uncomfortable.
Before that, I always told myself that I should just focus on what I liked and just ignore what I considered problematic because this was just a hobby. Something to have fun reading/watching.
And because it is a hobby, I figured I should just drop it if I'm forcing myself to sit through the perverted scenes.
Speaking of the perverse; Sanji used to be my absolute favorite. I don't know who told Oda that any of his nose bleeding scene were funny. He speaks about his porn consumption so openly and says they are his reference for drawing his female characters.
I was not surprised that Oda turned out to be a pedo apologist.
