I wouldn’t be mad at the word holistic if whole didn’t have the homophone in the form of hole. Holistic is spelled in a way that wants you to think that holistic would have something to do with holes but no. I has to do with whole.

One day, I was going to my friend’s room and was about to knock, and at the last minute, I remember a few days ago I injured my knuckle, so move one finger forward with the intent of only knocking with that one finger to prevent hurting the injured finger. As I knock, pain shoots through me and I realized I was knocking with the injured finger, reopening the wound and causing the appearance of blood.
