Meet The Gallaghers
Hi, we are the Gallaghers: Mom (me) - Olivia, Dad- Pete, and our rugrat Lil’ Pete (Peter Jr.) Although our clan only runs 3 deep at the moment, we are expecting another in a few months. And, we just found out…It is a girl!
During the day, I run a small bakery out of our home, while Pete designs for an architecture firm downtown. We try to spend every second of free time as a family. And, lately, we’ve been diving into Lil’ Pete’s most recent obsession with animals. Last week, we went to the zoo, and now Lil’ Pete is convinced he’s a fox. Here is the toy we just got him from IKEA.
I think he is hoping his new little sister will arrive in fox form. How will I console him when a boring old human pops out?
Lil’ Pete keeps me pretty busy, and with the other one on the way, I’ve been consumed with baby room plans and designs. We only have a few months before the new lil’ nugget arrives, and we’re hoping for a holiday delivery. Christmas baby! This season should be particularly special, as we’re hosting family for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. I think Kevin is bringing his new puppy for Christmas, which will be much to Lil’ Pete’s delight.
As part of My-Ikea holiday story series, we are super excited to let you into our lives for the next few months as we prepare for our little girl’s arrival! We’ll be posting how-to’s, style ideas, and general preparations as we head into the holiday season with a bun in the oven.
