Sidenote: they made Jace look exactly like the photo in the official book. It pretty much the same. Beautiful.
EPISODE TWO:

How did Lady Arryn know about Jace's death so quickly???
And I just have to say - Rhaena is a princess, if she asks for immunity/a place to stay, then shouldn't House Arryn agree? Or have to agree?
They really adapted the book to ruin storylines. I know what they're trying to do - everyone finds out it was Rhaena on Sheepstealer attacking Jace & Baela. Rhaenyra gets angry and wants revenge on Rhaena but Daemon refuses.
But I want Rhaena to have Morning :(
Anyway ...
Helaena was adorable this episode. Get her the damn chickens!
Warning:
the part with Alicent and the other Lord (can't remember his name), but the attempt on her was completely unneeded. Nothing about it changed the story or added to it in any way. It was a terrible decision to have it and no one can change my mind.
Rhaenyra and Daemon claiming King's Landing was badass.
The way Daemon acted this episode is how we wanted him last season. "It will be done," "she has me," it was just husband talk wasn't it.
I think my favourite part was Daemon finding Otto in the cell and laughing.
I don't know how I feel about Rhaenyra's emotions when having to cut his head off. Whatever reaction was needed, I can say that Emma did the perfect job of doing said emotion.
It just wavers from the book so much.
And the symbolism of Rhaenyra's bloody footsteps up to the throne was perfect.
