You have been married to Kylo now for a couple of months. It had been an arranged marriage, one you had been prepared for since the day you were born. You had expected it to be terrible, but to be honest it wasn’t so bad. At first it was a bit uncomfortable, being around each other all the time, sleeping in the same bed. But Kylo and you got along good, he was nice to you and he was very handsome. Kylo was often gone on missions, and lately you started to worry more about him as he went away.
You and Hux were standing on the bridge, Kylo was supposed to be back hours ago. Hux suspected it was an ambush, but that didn’t stop Kylo from going. “They should have been back hours ago…” You looked through the windows, waiting for the tie fighters to return.
You felt a hand on your shoulder “He will be back y/n, don’t worry about him.”
Hux had been very welcoming since the day you got there and the two of you had gotten quite close, something Kylo didn’t seem to like very much.
It took another hour before they finally arrived, you could see from far that the tie fighters had been beaten up. You quickly made your way to them, followed on foot by Hux. Half the stormtroopers that had gone away were coming from the fighters.
Kylo had already taken of his mask when he got out, his uniform was ripped his face covered in cuts and bruises.
“Oh my god! What happened?!” You closed the space between you, touching his face.
“It turned out to be and ambush, but I’m alive.”
“You idiot!” You hit him and started yelling “Hux told you that it was an ambush and you still went. You incredibly selfish, bastard!”
“Woah, woah, what are you yelling at me for?” Kylo grabbed your hands from hitting him again.
“Because you almost died today!” You kept yelling at him.
“I didn’t do in on purpose.” He defended himself.
“You were being reckless! How could you do something so stupid, I could have lost you!”
“Y/N, please stop yelling. I’m sorry okay?” Kylo wrapped his arms around you and pulled you against his chest “I’m sorry upset you. I didn’t know it would affect you so much.”
“I love you idiot, of course it affects me.” Before you even realised your words you had said them. You felt his arm release his grip.
“What did you say?”
“You are my husband of course I care.” You stammered, you were such an idiot.
“You just said you love me.” A grin appeared on Kylo’s face and you just wanted to sink through the floor. “That took you long enough.” He bowed his head and pushed his lips against yours, giving you the possibility to stop him or move away, but a hair on your head was thinking about pulling away.
