Mutant Frequent Foes The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants (1980)

The legendary terrorist Mystique reforms the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Her actions influenced by her wife, Destiny, visions of the future.

Their assassination attempt on the Presidential candidate Senator Robert Kelly which leads to a horrible dystopia future where mutants were killed or placed in concentration camps. Their attempt was stopped by the X-Men.

Later on, they become a government funded super-hero team Freedom Force.

Sebastian Shaw is the chairman of the Hellfire Club. It's one of the most powerful industrialists in America. A billion dollar empire.

For 150 years, the Hellfire Club has been America's oldest and most exclusive gentleman's club.

The membership list is a definite "who's who" in the nation's social, political, and economically elite. The Worthington and DaCosta families already included and welcomed.

Within the club is the Inner Circle. Only a select few are chosen to be in the Inner Circle and are often titled with a name based on a chess piece.

Despite most of them being mutants themselves, they only care about money and power. Sometimes even investing in anti-mutant projects, like sentinels.

Jason Wyngarde tried manipulate Jean Grey into being their Black Queen. She ends up breaking out the hypnotism, causing her to become Dark Phoenix.

In their attempt to save Jean, Wolverine ended up brutally injured some Hellfire Club goons. To fix their injuries they turned to bionics, becoming Reavers, led by Donald Pierce.

They also own one of America's most prestigious private school. The Massachusetts Academy. There, Emma makes her own team of young mutants, the Hellions. They were often rivalled with Magneto's New Mutant class.

Madripoor is an island nation located in Southwest Asia, supposedly near Singapore.

Wolverine disguised himself as Patch (he just wore an eyepatch and didn't use his claws) while in Madripoor during the time the X-Men were hiding in Australia. Usually hanging out at the Princess Bar in Lowtown

Hightown is a district of Madripoor where the most rich and powerful. Hightown is one of the wealthiest places in the world for it's spectacular architecture and advance technology

While in Lowtown, it's a lawless crime-impoverished district. A place with rampant crime and depravity. A place where anything can be bought/sold. There were also gangs around like The Triads, The Yakuza, and local gangs terrorizing everyone

Robert Kelly became a senator of his home state of Massachusetts

As a member of the U.S Senate, Kelly regarded the growing population of mutants as a threat to national security

Kelly promoted the Mutant Registration Act which would require those with the mutant gene to disclose their abilities to the government

Worked with the Hellfire Club, not knowing most were mutants

In Earth-811, the assassination of Kelly by Mystique's brotherhood causes the dystopian future of "Days of Future Past" In Earth-616 the attempt failed after being saved by the X-Men, however it caused Kelly to push more on the Mutant Registration Act

After witnessing another battle by the X-Men, his wife was tragically killed. Due to his grief, Kelly's position on mutants only deepened and ordered the production of more sentinels figuring mutants are too dangerous to be allowed to run rampant

She has superhuman agility, reflexes, and acute senses. As well as pheromone manipulation.

Research Center Muir Island (1977)

Muir Island is a small island off the coast of Northern Scotland

It's the home of the Earth's more comprehensive mutant research complex, called "Mutant Research Center" founding by Moira MacMaggert, an old colleague and once partner of Professor Charles Xavier

Moira chose the location due to it's isolation, allowing discreet research

Usually help and housed mutants who couldn't control their powers, like her son Proteus and Charles' son Legion for example

Mutant Island Krakoa (1975)

It's believed that Krakoa was a very small island in the pacific ocean that was located close to where some nuclear bombing tests were done. It's thought that the radiation somehow turned the island's ecosystem in a single hive-mind entity

Krakoa was part of a greater land called Okkara but an attack by an enemy wielding the twilight sword, caused it to split into two, Krakoa and Arakko

Cerebro detected an unknown mutant but when the X-Men arrived, they were captured by Krakoa, then using them as a food source. This is when Professor X and Cyclops then recruit the next team with Wolverine, Storm, Thunderbird, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Sunfire, Banshee to save the original team

Pre-Historic Tropical Jungle The Savage Land (1965)

The Savage Land is a vast pre-historic tropical jungle under the freezing Antarctica

Filled with dinosaurs, exotic animals, and many native local tribes

The king of the jungle Ka-Zar lives there, along with his family and sabretooth tiger Zabu

Also home to The Savage Land Mutates, Zaladane, and Sauron

Alien Foes/Allies Majestrix Lilandra Nermani, The Shi'ar Empire & The Imperial Guard (1977)

The Shi'ar left their home world and began a vast intergalactic empire that rules over million of worlds.

Lilandra had mental rapport with Professor X in which she asks for the X-Men's help from her corrupt older brother and current Emperor of the Shi'ar, D'ken. The X-Men were able to help and Lilandra becomes the Majestrix of the Shi'ar Empire

A smaller separate ship of the Shi'air witnesses the destruction of planets and the loss of millions of lives by the Dark Phoenix

Lilandra beams the X-Men and Xavier up to their main ship. Wanting to hold Jean responsible for her acts and order for her execution.

The X-Men battled The Imperial Guard on the moon to protect Jean but at the end she sacrifices herself
