uRM here’s a bunch of possible theme ideas off the top of my head, ppl feel free to add more in replies!

forest towns -

fairy forest - filled with mushrooms and jacob ladders and even weeds for a overgrown natural look, scatter ores about the town and use pwps like the stone tablet and the statue fountain

woodland forest - filled with mushroom, lots of flowers, stumps and dead trees. use wooden bridges, and picnic blanket qr’s on the ground and use pwps like water wells and streetlights

farm town -

using pwps like the scarecrow and the windmill, more open space, red roofs on your houses with matching red flowers, turnips about town and there’s many qr codes with growing crops on (writing this am like woah i wana make tht)

horror town - 

with dead trees, black flowers and wilted flowers, custom design signs with warning signs on

winter towns-

christmas town - snowy, red flowers, presents scattered around town

frozen over town - white and blue flowers, illuminated pwps

colour themed town - 

eg. pink town with pink flowers, pink villagers, pink houses

seaside/beach town - 

houses themed on beach huts, tropical bushes and bright coloured flowers or alternative blue and white nautical theme

SOUNDHAX HAS BEEN RELEASED!

What is soundhax? Soundhax is the first method of launching homebrew that is “free, offline, and works on every version of the firmware for which the sound app is available.” (the soundhax repo on github)

For everyone who could not previously afford hax exploits such as oothax, ninjhax, freakyhax, this is for you! Set-up is incredibly easy as well, no more complicated steps or QR codes to scan! It even works on the current firmware, 11.2.0.35!

If you’re interested in setting it up, you can visit the github repo I linked above or follow the same instructions that I used to test this. Old homebrew users might need to update the boot.3dsx file on their SD card, it would only work for me after having done so. Make sure to download it while downloading the otherapp file!

Town: Kyoshi by Reddit user stephaniebates11

Description: A copy-cat version of Kyoshi, originally done by me, with no originality or creativity. This town copied paths, certain designs, town name, and mayor, then continued to claim town as their own work.
