Ah yes. It was her birthday, wasn’t it? The one day she dreaded the most. She imagined the rest of her classmates would swarm around her sooner or later to wish her happy birthday. Ugh. She hated socializing with them sometimes. However, she smiled at her girlfriend and spending the day with her was just perfect.

“Happy birthday, Maki!”

“...Thanks, I guess.”

“See you next year!”

Tenko closed her eyes, soaking in the feeling of kissing with Maki. The aikido master had missed this so much. Even so, that did also remind Tenko if the feeling of loneliness during Maki’s absence.  “Tenko is willing to wait for you as long as she needs to,” Tenko said, the smallest tremble in her voice. “But she’d be lying if she said that it didn’t miss Maki so much sometimes it hurt.” 

She frowned a bit, hugging her tighter and burying her face in the other’s shoulder. “I know, I feel the same way... but you know I can’t defy those men yet. They’d kill me if I didn’t complete their missions...” she mumbled and pulled away to cup her face with her hands.

“Oh, no,no! You misunderstood. You see, that wasn’t an opinion that should be taken so lightly.”  “In fact, it was a divinely mandated opinion! Do you really want to make God mad? No? Then kiss, kiss, kiss~!”

“...”

She sighed.

When Maki embraced Tenko, the aikido master embraced her back, smiling when Maki kissed her on the cheek. “I really needed that, Maki!” Tenko exclaimed. “Thank you so much!”

“Aw, Maki and Tenko are reuniting! What a blessing to behold!”

“Now, kiss.”

Therapist: you know, not everything is your fault.

Guess who’s finally back out of nowhere? Me. Hope ya missed me ‘cause I’ll being chaos. Probably.

Detective Maki? Consider me intrigued.

Okay, so, in this AU, she actually had parents who were detectives and she was inspired by them. Especially her dad who was forceful but just with decisive evidence and all that.

have y’all ever thought about Detective!Maki ‘cause she’d fit the bill imo. Intimidating af.

“One day things will be different. Tenko believes that! After all, Shuichi is using his talent to help you out! And Tenko is here for you, and will always be here for you!” Tenko said, giving Maki a quick, tight hug. 

Tenko briefly got up so she could set the DVD player and the TV, then picked a kung fu movie from her collection. “Tenko does like watching movies, so she’s picked a favorite to watch with Maki! Enjoy the movie while Tenko go gets popcorn for us.” 

“Yeah, you’re right. Thanks, Tenko.” Her smile widened and she was pretty tempted to call her something like ‘dear’ or ‘darling’, but felt like she wouldn’t like it. So, she refrained from saying anything.

TALENTSWAPS?

Kaede was walking around the hallways of Hope’s Peak Academy, saying hello to everyone she met. Some people were nice, others rudely passed by her in disinterest. She honestly paid no mind to them. Although she was quite used to such behavior. From a young age, she looked stunning and was always into trying something new.

Before long, she began modeling, having photoshoots and the like all over the country from producers to photographers who simply adored her perfect silhouette and style. Now, she’s been dubbed the Ultimate Model ever since she entered Hope’s Peak.

Realising that she bumped into someone, she took a step back to apologise.

“Why do you sound like you’re about to have a heart attack? It’s... no big deal.” She just lost in a fight against one of the newer, more aggressive kids of Hope’s Peak. She was humiliated, true, but she’d let it pass.
