"God's office vacation is over, so here's your present!" Here comes Angie, cheerfully teetering her way over to the robot. She pushes a well sized box-- kind of heavy too-- into Kiibo's chest, expecting him to take it from her. Despite her rough housing the box, there was a fragile wooden statuette inside. However there were red dried and mysterious stains all over it, that seemed to penetrate deep into the wood. The statuette is in the shape of a gear, but had Polynesian engravings on it.
Kiibo was taken aback by the heavy box that was thrust into his chest, quickly moving his arms to catch it before it fell onto the ground. At once, the weight of the present twinged the pain receptors in his back, squeezing out a wince of pain from his voice modulator. Nevertheless, the robot quickly managed to set the gift down onto the ground before it did any more damage to his back or the wire-y ligaments in his arms. He could tell Angie wished for him to open it…so he did.
Upon revealing the beautiful wooden statuette within, Kiibo let out a small gasp, metallic fingers ghosting over the penetrated red stains that splotched the wood’s surface. It was gear-shaped, so obviously it was a modern made piece of art, but it looked so historical and cultural that he couldn’t help but feel a buzzing flutter of excitement within his chest area.
“This is…amazing! It’s incredibly sculpted…and it fits me so well!” He wasn’t going to try to pick it up again, but from the way he eventually crouched down to hug the box, looking back up at Angie with bright, electric blue hues indicated that he was extremely happy with his gift. “I cannot fully express how joyful this makes me feel…but thank you! Thank you so much!”
